Lillhill, The Dwarven Cleric
Lillhill got his fame from the battles between the Dwarves and the Orcs. He was on every battlefield, helping his kind where he was most needed. His sturdiness and strength allowed him to run from one front line to another without any trouble, using hidden paths and galleries. He came across Guerhoan as he was going to a fortified camp near the mountains around the Great Plains, where many wounded soldiers were waiting. Guaerhoan watched Lillhill as he bandaged the warriors who had only minor wounds. Guerhoan took care of the most serious wounds, but he was astonished at seeing Lillhill dedicating himself to his task with such enthusiasm.
When the soldiers who could be saved had started to recover, Guerhoan and Lillhill had naturally become close friends. They agreed that Guerhoan would take Lillhill under his wing and would teach him many secrets related to healing potions, as well as many other things that remain secret to this today.
The master and the disciple went to many places, Lillhill learned a lot about theory and practice. Then the time came when both friends had to part and resume their individual journeys. On his way back home, Lillhill was attacked by a band of Troll bandits who roamed in the great plains. His armor protected him against many deadly blows, and they eventually fled, surprised at seeing such a worthy opponent in such a small body. Lillhill chased the Trolls to their hideout, attacked them and killed many of them... so people say. When the Trolls realized they would all perish, they begged for his mercy. For some time, the region was Troll-free again.
Lillhill took part in many other conflicts, and the news of his deeds eventually reached his homeland. He was said to be a great healer and a fearful opponent at the same time, devoting as much enthusiasm in one and the other. Before doing anything, he used to ask Gothar for guidance, and his relationship with this god is usually described as very special. When he came back home, he was greeted as a hero and a worthy member of his race, and he was given a pair of beautifully crafted chain-mail gloves, as only Dwarves know how to craft them. Each glove was adorned with four moon crystals allowing him either to deliver powerful blows, or to bring life back to the persons he touched.
When Lillhill died, the gloves were kept as a treasure, however it seems a few blacksmiths have found a way to craft them.
