Looarmen, the Wood Elf ranger

(By Uget Bell, Human researcher at the Free University of Ganareth, author of "Women of all Countries, Strike Back!")

Sisters, here is a great embodiment of the Free Woman!

People always say physical tasks are for men only, for these oafs that reek of foul smelling armpits. I say no! Look at what Looramen did, or her fellow woman, Dit’Hoy the Lutin, or with almost equivalent skills, Laylaya the Half-Elf!

And do not let them proclaim they traveled the wide world to flee from men! This is too easy! And besides, why would they flee? In these sad times, males are just lowbrow pigs with hairy arms...

No my dears: they traveled because they wanted to set foot where nobody had done so before. Heck! They wanted to put their own mark on the universe, and to show the generations to come, that women too could hand their family name down too!

Even the great Vahalkan, who wanted to teach Looarmen, had to quickly admit she was as good as him. She gave a name to Callotaure, the Forest of Heroes, where some Orcs decimated a troop of Braves. She also gave a name to Dal Hogran, Hogran’s foot, to show that at this very place, the famous Half-Troll archer set foot in order to kill a dragon... Honestly, could an enemy of males accomplish all these deeds to celebrate the most famous among them? Time to sweep this stupid legend away: we have nothing against them. They just need to talk to us respectfully, that’s it. Some of them do not understand yet. But the time will come.

When the new Wars spread chaos over Ganareth, she refused to be a part of them. All boars on both sides, she used to say. She even said that one day, women would rule the world, and that there would be less senseless bloodshed.

I will say no more about Looarmen: feminine modesty would be damaging. Let us simply say that there is a place called Looarmen Lomba, "Looarmen’s Secret", and that... Enough! Insiders of both sides will understand.

Did you read my monograph on Dit’Hoy? You’ll see: there’s a lot of willpower in this little book. Women are just like this!
