Ganheptameron

Introduction

At a time when the world is getting ready to enter a new era, I was assailed by terrible doubts. Forty-five years have elapsed since the day when I discovered the first fragments of the Ganheptameron to which I was conducted rather haphazardly. I have not ceased ever since to travel the world and looking for the missing writings that some have come and I dare say, more to me, than I have found them. Throughout my existence, to have the luck, the intuition and the genius, I boast of. However with the hindsight of old age and after reflection, it seems to me that through the course of the last forty-five years, in the hands of forces that overcome me, I have still been a modest instrument. To others, I leave the care of completing what was for me, the most precious thing in the world which I still dare call my work although it was done by many others. All that my discoveries resulted in, was to have happened and I am convinced at present.

I’m still persuaded that the keys of the present and in the past are to be found. May my works represent precious help for the understanding of forces which in certain places are putting ready to sweep across the world again. May the lights of the past be of help to those who are about to enter this new era. Helyazard

Genesis (Year 00-Year 99)

There was nothing before all these. In his chariot driven by the Sun, came Gothar the almighty and he lifted up the heavy veil of Nothingness. Down below, he set a huge, beautiful, fascinating and strange glinting sphere which he called Ganareth.

Golden Age (Year 100-Year 666)

The first day of the year 100 is a landmark, the beginning of the Golden Age. Gothar reinstituted Ysatis’s rite and created the race of men and put men into each realm to build cities and temples in his honour or in the honour of the God who they chose to revere. Gothar also let them have the right not to believe in any.

Age of Discord (Year 666-Year 998)

On the 2nd day of the year 666, Calder and Aesir had a terrible fight. The Morgans had just profaned a chapel dedicated to Aesir and the Kells who were questioning the existence of Calder as no temple had ever been erected in his glory within his own realm. During the six days of the quarrel, the Kells and Morgans were decimated and they were totally vanished from the face of Ganareth.

Dark Age (Year 999-Year 6666)

The first day of the year 999, Pyros, the capital city of the eighth realm, once famous for its rich cultural and religious life, was reduced to ashes.

Age of Reconquest (Year 6667-Year 8888)

On the second day of the year 6667, Gothar called the fourteen Immortals back to him and entrusted them with the difficult task of bringing back peace and preserving harmony on Ganareth.

Restored Harmony (Year 8888- Year 9954)

In the year 8888, the Dragons could no longer withstand their enemies. The latter indeed had become much too powerful to be resisted, thanks to the Immortals and to the Gods’ support and also thanks to the power of the Mana emanating from the fountains.

Toward a new era (From the year 9954 up to nowadays)

On the first day of the year 9954, as he was excavating the ruins of an ancient monastery, an intrepid Explorer called Helyazard discovered a manuscript. It referred to long forgotten civilizations as well as powerful realms, ruled by ten Gods endowed with tremendous and terrifying powers.
