The Enchanter:

The Enchanter class sits between the Mage and the classic healer. Enchanters are the most familiar with magic among this archetype and have a wide range of varied spells to serve his/her needs. The Enchanter is the least effective healer in terms of a single target but is more effective at countering area effect spells and magic attacks. Enchanters will also be able to master powerful utilitarian spells, both offensive and defensive, and are excellent secondary healers within a group.

The first path of the Enchanter is linked to magical creation and manipulation. The Enchanter will be able to summon several magical beings to assist him/her, allowing him/her to survive a fight when on his/her own. The Enchanter will also be able to apply several enchantments to weapons to increase their power. He/she will also master powerful control abilities, useful against a single target or within an area of effect. Finally, the Enchanter will be able to charm any kind of creature into serving his/her needs for a limited time.

The second path is dedicated to charms and glyphs. The Enchanter will be able to partially stun an opponent, increase his/her group’s magic resistances, or heal them, thanks to the use of reagents and the creation of healing zones. Enchanters will also be able to increase regeneration rates, trigger the implosion of a target, and even immunize an ally for a short time. Finally, he/she will be able to become invisible to detect invisibility and to purge any negative ailment.

An Enchanter’s expert abilities make him/her closer to a Mage, as he/she will be able to improve his/her Mana reserves and the Mana regeneration rate. Enchanters will be able to improve their casting ability and to recall their familiars more quickly. He/She will also be able to make the best use of his/her cloth armor.

The Enchanter is the most fragile of all the healers, and compensates for his/her cloth armor limitation with control-based and defense-based spells. He/She will be most appreciated within a group of Mages or within a group that fights Mages, and will be among the most effective if he/she faces area effect spell casters. Enchanters will also bring a substantial offensive power to a group, thanks to their enchantments and conjurations, along with the ability to dispel any ailment. This class will always be busy and will compensate for its lack of autonomy with conjuring abilities. An Enchanter will be an excellent choice for those who appreciate both magic and healing.
