The Necromancer:

A master of death and the best summoner of all the classes. The necromancer will be able to reanimate several creatures to serve him/her or use several summoning rituals in order to create his/her own servants. Necromancers are, in essence, one of the best solitary casters as they are able to regenerate easily. On the other hand, their defense is weaker and they will need to rely on their life draining and slowing abilities to stay safe. The Necromancers direct damage spells are more incapacitating and bothersome than dangerous with their small army being their main source of offensive power.

The first path is dedicated to necromantic conjurations. The Necromancer will be able to animate several creatures which will have abilities borrowed from the Mage, Hunter and fighter archetypes. He/She will also have various summoning rituals at his/her disposal and will ultimately be able to conjure a lich to assist him/her. He/She will also be able to make corpses explode and then reanimate them for a short time or to create a pillar of bone within a defined area, lacerating any enemy that steps inside of the area.

The second path is dedicated to necromantic manipulation. The Necromancer will be able to inflict degenerating effects on his/her adversaries which will diminish their regeneration and slow or weaken them while leeching their vital energy. Necromancers will be able to convert their own health into Mana, or to transfer their health to an ally. Necromancers can also morph into a bat or an Undead creature, trigger a plague or even accelerate the aging process of his target.

A Necromancer’s expert abilities are directed towards magic and regeneration with a knack of seeing invisible things and also a gaining of natural resistance against disease and poison.

This is a rather strategic class with an important combination of strategically managing familiars and summoning. A skilled Necromancer will be able to adapt his/her small army to a precise function and will have a lot on his/her hands managing the troops and his/her own spells. Necromancers will play a specific part within a group, but probably won’t be as sought after as other classes. This is due to some spells being difficult to set into motion, and being less spectacular. This is an excellent class to spread confusion with numerous summons, to weaken adversaries over time, or to support other allies. Necromancers will also have a greater chance at surviving thanks to their improved regeneration abilities.
