The Thief:

The Thief is the most dangerous at melee. He/she leaves honor and armor behind and focuses on his/her opponent’s death and tries to make it happen as quickly as possible. Although this class is proficient at killing, it nevertheless requires some strategies and keenness. The thief can be very efficient but in tougher conditions than other classes since he/she must rely on tricks to survive.

The first path is focused on fighting and taking advantage of certain situations. Thieves can trick their opponents, capitalize after a missed strike, or simply envenom his/her weapons. A Thief can use shrikes to destroy a target that is running away, hit at the correct place to bypass armor, and even go round his target with surprising quickness, in order to engage the battle differently.

The second path is assassination. When choosing it, the thief can slip out in the shadows and inflict heavy damage to his/her victim, if he/she can reach it. The thief can place traps full of poison, cause direct damage as well as damage over time, and can run away quickly if he/she has to.

The expert Thief becomes a master with his/her favorite weapons and he becomes more resistant to poison and diseases. He is as well more efficient at finding Goths in the right pocket and he of course can easily locate traps. He/she can also train to be better at avoiding hits and become more efficient at taking advantage of the situation when the victim makes the mistake of not facing the Thief.

The thief is very lively and has to move a lot during fights in order to be at the right spot and strike a deadly blow. Thieves that take special care of their approach are good at hunting the less resistant classes, such as Mages. On the other hand, a Thief is at a disadvantage in frontal combat and has to compensate with his/her reflexes and skillful moves. This class is useful to a group for its overall competence as well as the high damage output. A Thief is at his/her best in game when an ally draws the attention of the enemy. However, Thieves have a lot more difficulty acting as loners, since they must kill the enemy very fast before sustaining too much damage.
