The Wizard:

The most traditional magic user of all, the Wizard is also the most powerful regarding direct damage and the weakest in terms of defense. The Wizard is the master of effect spells, with good direct damaging powers at his/her disposal. Wizards will be able to take care of a large number of adversaries if supported correctly by their other group members. Thus, this class is purely offensive and will be highly sought after for its abilities to quickly disable the enemy. The Wizard however, is very fragile and will be greatly dependent on his/her fellow fighters and healers.

The first path is dedicated to fire magic and will allow Wizards to access a wide range of direct damage or damage over time spells, which will work on a single target or within an area of effect. From fireballs to immolation spells, the Wizard will be able to quickly reduce his/her target to ashes. In the long run there is the possibility of being able to summon the Armageddon and to annihilate everything within an area. Wizards will also be able to improve their own fire resistance and to summon a rain of fire or create a pillar of flame.

The second path is dedicated to the opposite element, ice. Ice spells will inflict more moderate damage but will slow or paralyze their target. The range of available spells is as versatile as the first path with the possibility of creating an icicle rain or a frozen sarcophagus. The Wizard will also have at his/her disposal a wide range of spells allowing greater control over single or multiple targets. This path ends with Deep Freeze, an area effect spell capable of completely freezing everything within the combat zone around the Wizard.

His/Her expert abilities are of course focused towards magic. He/She will also develop, like his/her fellow Mages, specific resistances.

The paths of this class are complementary in nature thanks to the use of the thermal shock principle, with each type of spell (fire or ice) making the target more susceptible to the opposite element for a short time. Wizards should vary their spells in order to use the full potential of each path for greater effectiveness, such as adding the burning effect of fire to the freezing effects of ice. They will be very resistant to their chosen element but will have no special defense against anything else. They will need to rely on their group to survive so that he/she has the opportunity to deploy their most powerful spells during large-scale battles. Alone, the wizard will be fragile and will be able to kill quickly his/her opponents but without any margin for error. A powerful class, designed for those who favor offensive magic over defense, Wizards will not do well against an Illusionist as their respective specializations negate each other.
