Who are they?

Descended from water guardians, gnomes keep themselves to themselves and find it hard to get along with other races (except possibly the sprites, their distant cousins from the plains). Morals are rather flimsy among gnomes, earning them a reputation as scoundrels of the first order.

Benefits

Gnomes are blessed with amazing agility. This, coupled with their small size, allows them to wriggle stealthily into the most difficult places. They are past masters at disarming mechanical devices, and as for fighting, their attacks from behind are usually as incisive as they are treacherous.
