- "Hi everyone, I’m Niilbort, Human by birth, from Aquilia, I’m 17 Yano old and I’m experiencing a bout of depression since almost 6 Monad now."
- "Hi Niilbort!"
- "I believe everything started when my parents decided it was time for me to fend for myself... They weren’t either rich or poor, I guess they just wanted me to find my own way in life. But I got lost on my way..."
"Just think of it! The choices! So I run from temple to temple, gathering information, asking about the available teachings, the professions I can hope for, the places I could be useful in... And I’m told that I have the potential to choose everything, something that comes from my ancestors, so I’ve been told. I don’t know who I should follow among the Immortals, I don’t know who I should worship... And since that time, I embarked on a downward spiral and it doesn’t stop! I don’t know what I should do!
So I tell them, I’d like to learn something in order to have a family later on. They tell me, do what you want, kid. Go and look into each of the seven profession guilds and check in to the one you are interested in the most.
Same goes with the Gods! To begin with, there are nine which makes it worse. Plus they are more complicated: I go to a temple, asking for some information and ask if I can join. They then quietly tell me that their god doesn’t care about those who couldn’t learn the Teachings. I wish some priest would tell me what kind of teaching they are referring to, but no! I must choose and only then will they tell me! But I don’t want to choose, I just want to be told what to do! On top of that, my father says that I don’t have to choose a religion and that I can just remain like that and not suffer from it... My mother says I’m the type of guy they’re looking for in the army, they’re looking for these guys who don’t want to make any decisions, who don’t want to be confronted by a choice...
Speaking of the Teachings, this is a real nightmare: there are fourteen of them, which doesn’t make things easier for me, and on top of that, I have to find a master to teach me everything I have to know. I can tell you now, there aren’t many of them around, I only met a few people who could precisely tell me where I could find one. They aren’t even in the same place! What a lack of organization, I tell you!
So I went back home in tears, completely lost. I feel my life is offering me lots of things, but without any sort of direction.
I’m lost, yes, I think that’s the right term...
Thanks for listening."
- “What a nice testimonial, my friends! What can we offer him to help him out? My young... erm... Niilbort friend, I think I have found something for you and your quest of a goal, identity and reason to live. Something that doesn’t involve any choices. What do you think about hunting Woolly Rhinos? Bring us one of these animals back, dead or alive, and you will earn glory and fortune, and everybody will lay at your feet... What do you think of that?"

Way of life:
Humans have a special status, the same as Half Elves: they are a jack of all trades and can become agnostics. The Human race is the most common and widespread race on Ganareth. This race built many colossal structures and has a strong reputation as builders. Finally, and most importantly, Humans were the only ones able to mate with other races during the Dark Ages.
Protecting divinity:
None
Divine factions:
Humans have no natural god and may even choose not to worship any. However, if they wish to worship one, they are given the widest range of choices available: their approach towards these things is not distorted by any religious prejudice of any kind.
