Welcome to Taurelie Mirima!
Taurelie Mirima, or Mirimor for short, meaning "the free forest people" and "the free
ones" respectively (in quenya), is a guild for people with
the common goals to protect nature above all.
We would be a light guild, as it probably isn't possible to have both dark and light
people in the same guild, but perhaps we'll have a dark sisterguild.
I have now reworked the guild structure, to be freer, and more in line with Taurgwaith.
The guild will be allied with TG, and work together with them, attacking a member of TG
is not allowed.

We are a pretty loose guild, inviting for people who want to work on their own alot,
but still be able to lean back on a guild, and get help and information when needed. Of
course members will have a certain responsibility towards other members, to
help them in their need, but it's mostly a responsibility everyone takes unto
themselves freely - those that help others often can probably count on help for
themselves more often too, I'd guess.

Requirements/Guidelines

*characters must care for nature.

*no "leet speak" will be allowed, that shatters immersion.

*roleplay is encouraged.

*characters are encouraged to have fitting names (Quenya or Sindarin for elves e.g.).

*for many things in the game we will use different words sometimes (like fortress =
arta (Q); king = aran (Q&S); smith/crafter = tano, and so on...see list in the post
below). This is not obligatory to use of course, but makes for a deeper RP.

*some knowledge of elven languages is appreciated, but absolutely not required,
many words you'll learn, and we'll teach eachother during playing. A short list is
provided below.

*the guild will be allied with Taurgwaith, which shares our common goals of
protecting nature. Any attack on TG-members could lead to expulsion.

*the guild is to be mostly European, so we can all be online at roughly the same
times, if you live in US, you're still very welcome to join, but you might want to
consider Taurgwaith instead, as they are mostly US players. [Taurgwaith seems to be inactive at the moment though]

Structure
The guild is administered by a council, at the start put together of most people in
the guild who want the responsibility, and later elected democratically, at regular
intervals, yet to be set.
The council will make decisions regarding alliances and vendettas (though I'm
thinking the guild will be rather neutral mostly, except towards defilers of nature,
naturally!), matters of defence and construction
(more of this when the game goes live of course), and other guild matters.

There will be some commanders, who are the heads of smaller groups of
people, calling for their aid when it's needed, and handing all sorts of news to
them, from the council (depending on chat-channels and the like), but it's all
pretty loose and free.

Explanation of Structure-tree:

Yomenie Istyarion
This would be the research council, where interested people discuss different aspects of the game, astronomy and its impact on activities in the game, the weather, forecasts, crafting-riddles, and much more. Will have a private forum part.

Yomenie Aina
The Holy Council would deal with things concerning the Gods, building temples, managing the favour of the Gods, to see to that they don't get angry with us for some reason. Small part of the guild.

Anyára Tano
The Elder Crafter makes sure everyone is happy within the crafting ranks, and keeps track on who can do what, in case anything is needed. He/she would also do research in crafting, experiments, and greater projects.

Lúmequentaro
The Historian keeps records of Guild Events as well as Events in Ganareth. Would help me with the website, by putting up news when they are available, and upholding a page of records. Will also be
a lorekeeper of the past events of Ganareth, as available from info released by the devs.

Harwendur
The Treasurer. Not sure how the economy works in Ganareth yet, so will have to get back to this person.

Tercáno
The head diplomat of the guild, handling intelligence reports, and gathering information about other guilds/groups. Will need to be a good negotiator.

Lambengolmo
Keeps information about the elven languages. :P

Military Structure
The "Military" will consist of three groups (in line with Taurgwaith), each with a commander (cáno), and
second in command (atyacáno), who assists the cáno, and stands in for him/her whenever they cannot be present.

Groups:
*Rávi (Lions) is the group of the most hardened fighters, the offensive unit of the guild, ready to protect
any place where nature is being harmed. TG equivalence:Warder
*Sorni (Eagles) is exploring group, finding places in the world that need to be protected, and gather information about the lands of Ganareth. TG equivalence: Scout
*Ruscor (Foxes) is for the persons who wish to dwell in one area, protecting it from harm. When in need,
they will call on the help of the other groups of the guild, especially the Rávi. TG equivalence: Keeper

You will get to choose one of these groups, according to your preference, but you are free to wander whereto ever you want (though Rávi should stay ready to hear calls for help). The Cáno of the group will
send the information from/to the group/council/other members, to help with administration. At a call for
help, if you can, you should try and get to the place of the action, to help defend our Nosse (guild/clan).

If you have any questions regarding anything here, please PM Lumiana and ask.

Oh, sorry, I should have added that at the beginning (added now)- they are from Ardalambion's quenya wordlists, which are the most reliable on the net, hosted by Helge Fauskanger, who's done a great job at researching and collecting Tolkienian linguistic material.

I'm now thinking of changing the name of the guild to Taurelie Mirima, (Mirimor; TM), to make it more obvious that it's quite neutral race-wise.
The structure will probably be made freer too in the coming weeks.
Furthermore, we will be allied with Taurgwaith, who shares the same goals, to protect nature from anyone who wishes to harm it, dark or light.
The reason why I didn't just join TG is the US<->EU time difference.
This will be a guild for any europeans, but we'll work closely with TG, and attacking them will not be allowed.
Welcome into the Forest Family!

Eldalie Mirima is now known as Taurelie Mirima!
I've changed the name in all places I've been able to.

We also have a member, another elder - Mehmet the Half-Troll half-poet!

If your still around you might want to take a peek at The Sundered Guard. They are a ranger guild from Shadowbane and would probably be a good ally. I knew some of their members very well and worked with the guild as a whole on many occassion. I'm not sure how involved the guild will be in DnL but from what I can tell there are still enough core members to get something going.

There is also House of Lok-ri. They're a stuck up (RP) elf guild from Shadowbane. I knew a couple of their members, though we were on different servers. Their roleplay is good from what I hear and they will be Light aligned.

Chances are I'll be going with Dark alignment but it's always a good idea to support the roleplay community when you can, so there ya go.

Take care

Thank you, and well met!
I've been in touch with the Sundered Guard quite frequently before, as I was applying for guild membership there once, and we share many things, as we do with our sibling-guild Taurgwaith. I thank you for the information and encouragement, and hope you will have a good RP time, even if you are dark. ;)
