Yes, Exactly. It seems some people are more interested in the guild name than the actual mission of the guild. When there are great clans with normal names (like Taurgwaith - The Forest People ;)) that actually have a goal, history, whatever.


But this guild has a cool name. So it already has more members than Taurgwaith. Hurray. I'm gonna leave my clan and start the Reapers of the Wolf. Base it in some anime theme and be famous.

When there are great clans with normal names (like Taurgwaith - The Forest People ;)) that actually have a goal, history, whatever.

I guess that if you've seen the anime, the name "Band of the Hawk" should inspire you enough to make this clan one of the stongest of Ganareth.
Strong band between the members, diversity in character types, many actors from the series can be used to play with good roleplaying possibilities - and fit perfectly into the world of Ganareth. This name is a very good source to build a fine guild on. The only thing is ... it probably has to be a light side clan ... but it could also be a dark side clan. The purpose is good but the path to it is a trail of blood. Difficult choise.

To Judeau : Could you explain a little more about your thoughts on the guild?
What are your plans? How will you put some structure in it. How will the clan choose their leader (Griffith).

It would also be nice if we talk about the clan in this thread and minimise the nonsense talk ^-^

Yea, I agree with the last poster here, Id like to know more about the guild itself, the name is a very clever touch whether you meant for it to be inspiring or not, but It would be nice to state the goals for the guild and so on... Would make my decision of the guild alot easier.

I'm probably going to play a monk in the upcoming beta and release.

I'm 20 years old and come from sweden. I have played DAoC, wow and so on before. I have no serious problem with my english so speaking should not be a problem =).

A guild of berserkers? This is the scariest thing I've heard off since I discovered the fat lass next door wanted to date me! But perhaps it's my celtic blood. I'm drawn to the idea, although surely it would just be a case of getting pissed(drunk), grabbing the nearest member of the opposite sex, then going out to pillage and burn a village!

Sounds like heaven, or Valhalla, one or the other. But how we do we stop in fighting. I mean we Berserkers are known for our quick fuse.
