Currently Bluenose is still waiting to talk to Delta (the other guildmaster of SoF) about my proposal. Nothing has been said about yet, however, friendly comments go back and forth, so hopefully that is a positive sign to a strong future relations.

Can I be added to the Saints list?
So as for the answer to his question, a Saint is chosen by God and must prove himself on the battlefield and inside of a community. So once the game begins, and you prove worthy, then God has chosen you to become a Saint which will give me authorization to add you to the Saints list.

Nope I'm not a chooser, it's a test given to you in RL but you don't know ur being tested. As for in the games, I tell you the standards of the test, and if God chooses you, then you will become a Saint. For instance, depending on the game play and concepts, the test will most likely consist as to each member going on a journey. The journey is to help people in need and defeat those that cause harm. If you gain much from the journey and not die once even from monsters, then you were a chosen one. But if you die along the journey for what ever reason then you are not chosen to be a Saint. Because God will not let his soldiers die, they may become hurt very badly, but they will never die. A Saint is not invincible though. In time of war, however, a Saint may die, but one Saint is equal to that of many regular soldiers. And for that, a Saints' presence is known for the brute fight they endured and stood up against.

yah if you want to stop people posting i would think that you should then get a forum somewere else that way you can conduct what you want without haveing to deal with people mucking it up with flames and such.

As to my answer to this is, A Saint is one that is not about self sacrifice in helping others. Because if self sacrifice is their method of use, then that person only helps a small minority of people. I understand what you are saying, however, a Saint is one that is protected by the higher force, so self sacrifice as noble it may sound is a useless method for a true Saint to use. A Saint stands above all and continues daily without falling as proof of his power and goodness and willingness to achieve while being protected by the higher force. For the man that falls in protecting people as of righteous efforts, was not chosen as a Saint, yet carries the heart of one and is as well respected as a Saint. Saints are chosen, and even if many qualify, only a select random few are chosen. And those who are chosen know who they are because we fear nothing in RL and always look out for the well being of everyone around us no matter how dangerous a situation may be. Because I am still alive, and have been involved in too many life threatening situations on my own behalf in helping others flee from harm. A Saint won't fall unless he's done his job and his time is no longer needed here.

Um I guess I'm new and you can kick me if you want /shrug, but the whole "Saint" thing is kinda dumb. If this was a game where if you died you never respawned I could see this consecpt put into place to encourage people to help one another, but I know I will die alot in this game and it doesn't bother me.
Also to be even more of a mukraker, why do you two get to start as Saints? Ok you've oragized this guild and perhaps when we have upwards of 20 people this will be a time consuming task, but to me you're just two guys that started a guild which hasn't even done anything yet. Please earn my respect and trust before you start calling yourselves "Saints".

Halsvar if you read what I wrote carefully, then you would understand all. I am introducing the Saint concept to the game. I too will die probably a few times but only in wars or lag. But I call myself a Saint because I feel that it is true in RL. I have saved many people from harm putting my own life in danger and came out unscaved. I am a protector of people in RL. Read all of what I wrote carefully then you would understand why I have the right to call myself that.

Perhaps you could pick a different title then. Personally I'm Catholic and although I'm not very active in my church and ignore most of it, to me saint is a very great title and given only to people after their deaths :P
Perhaps: Champion, Proctector, Warder, Hero, ect.
Basically to me, calling yourself a saint is like saying that your diviinity or something.
I'll read that post again.

I like the look of Braves :cool: but I wanna see every race then chose my class.
hey smuffy, It`s NOT about the looks but about the Predispositions of each race...
I think that the braves have too less magic.
but yea.. the looks are okay but I want magic! so i think i`ll have a elf-like thingey

because EVERYTHING in this WHOLE game looks good, but that`s not what i meant, i meant that ur char should have the "Predispositions" that u want and well... it should also look good yea, but if u want a magician and u like the braves look, wich one would u choose? the brave or an elf/small (fairy) thingey??
guess the elf cause they look good too (not as good as the braves maybe) AND they have lots of magic heheh got it now? :D

In response to halsv, the reason the term "saint" is used is because one of our favorite movies is "The Boondock Saints" I reccomend you rent/buy this movie...then get back to us. I think you'll understand everything afterwards ^_^.
