“Come to me my children, come and hear the tale of a corrupted soul.”
------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----
.:The birth:.
A dark night... Two moons are up, almost fighting each other’s for the domination of the sky... Men killing each other’s... A young woman is screaming, trying to escape the fierce warriors. And suddenly a hand grabs her hair and drags her back. A big elven archer has caught her, but instead of killing her he knocks her out and rides away from the war... Even though he is a ranger of the light he has mortal feelings like everybody else and right now he feels... a thirst... a thirst for union, for love, for reproduction. He rides to a lonely house in the wilderness and puts an end to his thirst. Elven blood meets Human blood, light meets dark, and that is how Shazi was born my friends.
.:The goal:.
Shazi’s mother wasn’t able to prevent this event, she was used as a tool to create a mix of dark and light, a mix of elf and human, however, she did manage to get her revenge, she raised her son with hatred against light and against elves. When her son grew up he got pointy ears just as a true elf, but Shazi’s mother was always quick to cut them down to “normal” size. Shazi, didn’t complain about this, he knew why she did it, and if she wouldn’t have done it then he would. Shazi’s mother taught her son how to make traps, how to create poison and how to avoid elven arrows and spells, she raised her son with only one goal, to slay the elves of light.
.:Shazi’s revenge:.
Shazi grew up to a handsome young man, he used the skills her mother taught him to get food. He joined up with a guild of thieves and made great progress in lock picking and stealth. However, his friends in the guild noticed that he wasn’t like the rest, the others were always either dark or light and they hated each other’s. Shazi however had friends among both dark and light persons, the only thing he didn’t tolerate was light elves, as soon as a light elf would try to join up with the guild then Shazi always made a protest against it, and if he didn’t manage to remove the elf from the guild then the elf usually disappeared somehow. The guild master didn’t say anything about this since Shazi was worth keeping in the guild. However, the other members didn’t like this at all since it usually was their friends Shazi killed. So one day 10 members went to the guildhall and demanded that Shazi would be removed from the guild. The guild master had no choice but to order Shazi to leave. Shazi thought this was unfair but didn’t protest. He left silently with a smile on his face. The guild master felt a bit worried about Shazi leaving without any kind of protest. The next day the guild master never came to the guild so the guards went to his house to check up on him, they found him lying dead in the dinner room, not a trace of blood or combat, he simply died.
.:Shazi’s journey:.
Shazi saw no reason to stay in town so he started to travel around to find a way to get into the main light palace, he was fed up with killing lonesome traveling light elves, he wanted to kill one of the noble elves that lived in the main light town, he wanted to see results of his kills. He herd about a guild called the Soldiers of Fortune that also wanted to slay all light and restore the world to what it once was, he went into a tavern to find some information about these persons and he found out that the leaders were called Delta and Bluenose and they were elves, he herd that practically the whole guild was being run by elves. He thought a bit about it and decided to look for these elves, either to join them, or to slay them.
.:The meeting:.
He tracked the guild down and joined up with them, he got a few cold eyes since his reputation had reached them before him and he could hear one of them say to the leader called Delta “Watch out with the new guy, I’ve herd rumors that he hates elves and does everything to kill them”. Shazi knew that he had to put a stop to these rumors, even though they were true, so he went up to Delta and Bluenose and said straight out to them, “Masters, the rumors you hear are true, but there is one thing your friend seems to have forgotten, I do not kill elves without reason and I have my reasons to slay the elves of light”. He told them his story, about his birth, his youth, his goal and revenge, and at the end he added “as long as your not LIGHT elves you have nothing to fear from me”. He could still see some fear and anger in some of the members eyes and his first reaction was to make them “disappear” but he quickly forced that thought out of his mind since he knew that if he would slay even one of these members then he would never be accepted as a true member. Delta and Bluenose tested Shazi's loyalty several times and every time he passed the tests. In the beginning he was very annoyed with these tests and he felt like leaving, but for some reason he stayed, in the beginning it was because they had the same goal, to restore the world to what it once was, if that would happen then Shazi would'nt have to be "the odd one". He would be accepted for the one he was, neither dark, neither light. However, after a while a stronger feeling came to Shazi, he felt satisfied with his position, he had made some friends in the guild and they were not like his usual friends, they were true friends whom you could talk about everything with, friends who trusted you in every situation. Time passed and Shazi slowly began to accept his elvish blood, even though he still wanted to be considered as a human.

“Now children, it is late, you better go home to your parents before they miss you to much, and remember, always look twice over your shoulder if you think you are being followed, you never know who might want you dead…”
