What types of music do you all listen to? Right now it's Tool: Aenima for me..
But I like most everything.. except most country western music.

I like all sorts of stuff so why don't we post say 5 songs that we like and try and chose something a little unusual that people might not have listened to before. Give us something to do on eDonky anyway :). Here's my 5:

Leonard Cohen: Bird on a Wire - an archetypal ballad
Rammstein: Sonne - a great heavy metal song
Mylene Farmer: California - a typically bouncy but meaningful pop song
Renaud: L'Hexagone - a great folk/protest song
Good Charlotte: The Anthem - stylish modern rock

Oh and to answer the question, at the moment I'm listening to Muse, Linkin Park, Eminem and Rammstein mostly.

Well I usually have Rock Fm on streaming when just randomly browsing. I save the more random songs for download (All south park songs, Monty Python, 3 is a magic number and movie themes)
Its always the question I dread "What bands do you like?" because I can never name one I just decide if I like a song when I hear it.

My favorites are Yuki Kajiura, Vanessa Mae and Blackmore's night.
Otherwise, as long as there is violin in it - its good

mmm I like violins :D

mmhh, this is a tricky one..
"Canto para Elewa y Chango" by Orishas (traditional Cuban mixed with french hip-hop)
"The Flower Duet" from the opera Lakme by Delibes
"Bienvenida a Tijuana"& "Clandestino" by Manu Chao
"Volvere" & "Quimbara" by Dark Latin Youth
The sound track to the film "Ghost Dog"

I like a million other things, aall sorts of styles, but those are the more obscure ones I keep going back to. And I never stay away too long from my first love: The Clash, Blondie, Joy Division, etc (yes I'm very old...but younger than Rufus :D ).

some interesting stuff in this thread, I'll make a point of listening to at least one from each list

and KC when we get our mics we'll sing "volare" on teamspeak, i'm sure Ramini will join in as well

Who isn't, they're fantastic!!!

Yes Sealgair, it probably might maybe just a little have something to do with me, but I was quite suprised at how much the forum hadn't moved since I left. You all need a kick up the arse...

... I'm not gonna do it, Rufus scares me :P
