I've fought and won....

I’ve fought and won,
the wasteland now holds me as a son
the cut in my soul has healed
but once in a while I still bleed
It seems somehow my destiny to be alone
I want to know how it feels
to have somebody beside me
the wasteland is all around me as far as the eye can see....
