Q: DnL will use the AD&D Rules ?

A: No license, I play to AD&D and when you take a license for a mmorpg, you are limited.

The game desigener will create there own rules.
We try to take what is done best in many MMORPG while keeping a coherence.
And for the beta, we like to test own server. So tell to your friend to come for see if the server can support a lot of people during the beta test.

Q: The largest og DnL ( 40 000 km2)

A: Who can the "best" can the less ( i am not understand in french too ;) )

Indeed the size of DnL which is a great thing for the discovery, can quickly become a handicap for the combat and the social life if nobody see himself.
But do not forget that DnL is a world of magic, that public transport and other teleportations exist.
And indeed in the "hot point" ( in fact you can bind in your forteress to release at your bind, that s I understand ;) ) So it s interessed for defense and attack a fortress or anything else.

Q : The aggro of the mob ( train mob )

A: There are not zone in the game, so there is not a stupid "end aggro" when you change of zone : like Ever Quest
But each mob at his own ray of aggro.

So you don t see a train of mob behind a player during 2 hours ;) .
But some mob stop to hunting you, but it may be don't forget you ;)

(word by word) : In short, more the monster will be intelligent, more it will pursue you and remember you, more it will be stupid more it will forget you quickly.

Q: Dark & Light & Pk

A: So to resume : if you are Dark or Light you can't kill your side ( dark can't kill dark)
It existe in the beginning of the game a NB zone safe.

It exist a code of war for the pk, to don't incite to kill a low level.
To be wanted it s just one thing ( GREAT ! what is the another ;) )

But for hardocre the PK they do something for us , but keep secret for the moment.

They try to all people have a fun to play : HARDCORE gamer, gamer occasional, the against pk, and harcdore pk.

Q: The system of Group

A: So, you can play solo or in group, but for kill a big mob, you will be in group, but who know realy ;)

So they know we are human, so one day want to kill mob kill mob kill mob, and one day, just see your friend, explore the world, to trading..
So they try to we don't borring during the game.

Q: The death in DnL

A: So if you are low level, you don't lose lot of Experience, and the low item come back immediatly. But if you are high level, you lose lot of experience, and your high item, come back ( teleportation) in a long time. So if you want to receive your item in less time, you must go to your death body. The cleric have a spell resurction it s very usefull for that.
The items, take an important place in DnL A powerfull craftsman can create a great magic item.

To resume ( word by word) :

when a player dies, it will apparaitra in the fountain of mana, under control of sound alignememnt, nearest and will recover its équipememts with time according to their quality. It will be able always to thus take again the combat rapidemement, but it will be penalized if it does not recover its significant objects quickly.

Q: what will be the size of one group ?


A: We don't choose yet : 6 or 10, but may be 8 ;)

But in DnL , you will create a Multi-group : each leader of a group can to choose to group with each leader of groups. For the management we tell you later ;)

A: Second "quarter" of 2003 ( sorry i don't know the translation of trimestre )
