Pegasus Foundation is happy to announce the intention to form a chapter in DnL. Members have been following this game since early developement, but other obligations have not allowed us to become involved until now.

We are a multi class/race/level guild open to all like minded players. Those who have played EnB, SoR, WoW or GW may be familiar with us.

We have tried and tested leadership teams, promotion methods and organizational structure. We are an older, larger guild, but with policy in place that allows newer members to advance and grow both in the game and within the guild. We like to be a big guild with a small guild feel. The only thing better than gaming with 10 of your friends is gaming with 100 of your friends.

Pegasus Foundation has a reputation for being a "good" guild, and as such we will be light affiliated in DnL. As we understand the guilding system at this time in DnL, that will not preclude dark characters (non warriors) from joining, but they will have to have the same community minded nature, respectful attitude and helpful disposition we expect from all characters.

Those seeking further information about us are invited to register on our website and read our charter, policies and forums.

We welcome the opportunity to work with and game with the many competent guilds already registered here. Hope to see you in game soon.

It might be helpful to others if you woud tell us whether you will be playing dark or light.

I know it was a kind of long post but if you read it I think you willl see it saying

"Pegasus Foundation has a reputation for being a "good" guild, and as such we will be light affiliated in DnL. "

Maybe I have entered something wrong, but it shows on my screen just fine. If you cannot see this in my post please tell me and I will try to correct it.

As for our motto being double sided, I am not sure exactly what you are talking about, since we have posted none yet. I assume you are not refering to my signature, since even that is a relatively well known quote from history.

Hey Jixx!!!
Good to see us here! Saw the post on PF's website and came to check it out. For those interested, we have a great time, a great website, and hmmm overall have fun playing whatever game we're in. Go to our website for questions and just to get a feel for who we are. The site addy is: www.Pegasus-Foundation.com.
This game looks cool. Will have to definitely have more of the guildies look into this. See ya around.

Hey Jade, yeah the Sig did not appear at first, not sure why exactly. Seems to be functioning now. I have not posted here much. Do the forums have a history of problems? I know sometimes they can be touchy if there are a lot of people posting.

X great to see you here. Rag and K have expressed some interest as well, maybe we will see them around too.

I will be here for sure as long as I have anything to do with it. Good friends, great times and a guild that is about more then being uber greedy. I have led a Chapter of Pegasus Foundation for almost 3 years now and though EnB, Eve, CoH, SoR, and WoW. A few things have always remained the same, Leadership is always there and doesn't abandon their guildies once they reach "uber" status, membership goes closer every day, the commitment to excellence and to be more tomorrow then we are today.

Facts:
If your only goal is to beat a game, we aren't the guild for you. Yes we all want to be the best and be a major playing guild, but never is it a primary goal of ours. Our main goal is to be there for each other and to have fun dying along the way as we stretch a bit beyond our means in the attempt to grow.

Guild chat is always of adult nature, but always remains swear free and respectful. In PF we have players as young as 13 and older then 60.

Guild Motto: Pay it Forward. I help you and instead of paying me back, you help the next guildie that asks you.

Pegasus Foundation is commeted to maintaining a positive environment that everyone can enjoy, power gamer or casual player, young and old.

Pegasus Foundation gets its name from Earth and Beyond where we established the guild in beta on the "Pegasus" server. "Foundation" is for the strength of unity that we wish to envelope and endourse.

We have a deadicated website with the best Webmaster in the world (IMO) he is on the job everyday and is always ready to spring into action should it be needed.

We have Chapters on multiple games so you have friends in a variety of environments. Currently we have after Chapters on Saga of Ryzom, World of Warcraft (Hellscream-Alliance and Horde), and Guild Wars.

If anyone has any questions beyond this, I would advise that you visit our website www.pegasus-foundation.com and read our Charter and other documents posted for public viewing. Beyond that I check the website almost hourly and will respond to any questions you may have about Pegasus Foundation.

In the end, if you want more then a greedy guild out for material things, PF may just be a place you can call home. I look forward to meeting you all.

Nice to finally see a large good light guild... thus far I have found most light guilds to be lacking in the good department.

I wish you luck.

Rag, thanks for the post. Good to see you here Admiral. :)

Kisimir, I agree form what I have seen on the forums. BTW isn´t Kisimir a Russian ion engine (little hobby of mine) Very efficient design, not sure if that is why you chose the name or not. Either way any Ozzy fan is ok by me. :)

Arqitt, TY for the welcome. Hope to see you in game.

Greets, all. I forgot to actually post in the guild thread, so here I go!

Hopefully this game is able to implement itself as well as it looks like it could. Games like Eve promised a lot, but got bogged down in aiming too high...DnL looks a lot more reasonable, but still a great leap ahead of what's out there now, which is a very good thing. And hey, the "crazy devs" often make the most lovable games in the end, I think. :)

Heeeere, beta beta beta...

Hey.. Jixx.. Remember the Russian Alliance from EnB? I got a PM from Ivan and he and his buddies are thinking of coming to DnL. They will not really have enough to form their guild again and would like to come to PF. Though only Ivan speaks English. I told him it would not be a real problem, but just wanted to touch base with you on it. Do we have anyone that is fluent in Russian? Comments?

Meanign we have a wait time of approx. 15 days before we "might" get into beta :(

Nice to see another well organized clan. Although Oblivion is a Dark guild we seem to have a lot in common in our values and goals. Good luck to you and we look forward to seeing you in game.

Edit: your website link on your guild page comes up 'url not found' FYI

Hi all!

So if nobody in PF has a beta key one assumes that nobody in PF has direct experience of gameplay thus far? This being the case its interesting to read the forums on the background work undertaken so far and interest DnL has generated

Jixxala
09-22-2005, 04:24 PM
We have followed this game since development with great hopes. When we look into a game we start more than a year beforehand. Though it is unusual for us not to have a few people in beta, in this game we do not. Even if we did, they could not talk about it, so it would be the same.

Doing background work is like homework. We never go into a game blind. Though without beta testers, we are certainly sight impared. :)

Evening all, My name is Senadin,

Was directed to your website by Eggie, so just looking into it right now. Never signed up to a guild before release so this is kinda like a first to me. Hoping to read a bit more about your goals into this game and such.
I am planning to be a Monk explorer ..perhaps monk will change for scout but not sure at this time.

Anyway, see you in game or in guild chat perhaps =)

Welcome Senadin, good to have you here. We have more info on our webpage than here. I understand about wanting to kknow a bit more about our goals etc. Feel free to go to the website and sign up. This will tell you more about us and how we play. Once you are there PM me and I will get you on the DnL list, this will give you more access to our DnL stuff. ATM, since the game is not released, most of our discussions etc are not open to the public.

Hope to hear from you soon,

Sorry this took so long.. Being without internet off and on has a tendency to make me miss stuff. Blech.. Anyway.. We are trying to get that fixed. It is a coding problem on DnL's end. But the link on our sigs works.

And thank you so much for bringing that to our attention.

A question: how come The Pegasus Foundation has its own sub-forum? Just curious.

Jixxala
11-02-2005, 04:42 PM
We're special. :) Well maybe short bus kind of. hehe If you contact a Mod he will set you up with your own subforum. I don't know why all guilds have not done this. It is free. I forget just who you have to PM now, but it is located in one of the sticky threads on the guilds section I believe. Get Evolution set up with one. It will take them a week or so to do it though, they are pretty busy.

I would like to be considered into the Pegaus-Foundation if you guys are still alive in Ganareth. Here's my bio

Name: Roan Shiho
Race: Undecided yet
Class: Illusionist or Ranger/Tamer
Alignment: (You must be Light) as light as I can be
Background:

I started my immersion in MMORPG with Ascheron's Call 1 and found out the aspects of the games i like best are indeed in Role Playing. I despise any non interactive game, FPS or board/online games.

After playing AC1 for about 6 months I moved to SWG as soon as it was launched mastered Rifleman, then Carbineer in Valcyn (before they fixedthe profs) moved to Tempest server since it was the newest server and mastered TKM/MCM (Pre cu). As part of the Tempest community I helped in bringing in diplomatic resolution between the 2 warring factions (roleplay) by forcing my guild Krayt Dragoon to allow members of the opposing faction to use the shuttleport of Mos Krayt. Our city Mos Krayt is situated in the Krayt Graveyard POI which was of interest to all faction since it is where the Krayt Dragons spawn the most and hence the market for Krayt pearls (used for Saber crafting)

I left SWG even before the combat upgrade (1st massive nerfing, 1 1/2 years due to no content added ) and settled on other MMORPG such as Anarchy Online (Rubika-1, level 200 Metaphysics, Council member of Neuron), WOW (Level 60 Rogue), beta tested A Tale in the Desert 1 and lurking the Dnl Forums.

In Dnl i would like to get my hands on crafting with 1 of my 5 alts, I love PvP though i woulnt consider myself an expert PvPer.

I may have some experience in getting groups together to hunt, level or what have not and can lend those experiences with guildmates. I prefer grouping with people of like mindset, funny yet not childish.

I would love to join and contribute in the elimination of the Darkside in Ganareth. My Wrath is the wrath of the Light Gods of Ganareth and the light will prevail over the Dark Forces.
