looking for a guild to call home

Good day to all on this forum.
I'm am looking for a guild to call home.
It has been such a long time since I've done this last..
So will do my best to describe myself :

I was at guild leader in Shadowbane over 70 active members
when we were most.

We played on the old carnage server best gaming experience in my life.
I was very active in the Second World War of the server.

there is nothing like getting up at the middle of the night,
because you have to go to war
I'm from Europe and I was playing on the American servers
so my time zone was a little different than everybody else's.

I'm an experience Warlord has been to over 200 city defence or city attacks in my time in sb, 90% off the time leading my old people in battle.

I am not going to start my own guilt in this game
i simply don't have the time for it any
more RL takes a lot more of my time nowadays.
So I will be satisfied with the normal
membership of any guild,
maybe worked my way up, if I find that I have the time for it
(I usually still play over 30 hours a week)
and if the guild find use of my previous
experience in any field, I would be more than happy to help of course.

One thing is very important to me is, that the guild I'm joining is using a
speech program to communicate with each other in game, such as ventrilo or team speak.
It is my opinion that you can't have a serious guild without using a communication program
and I will not consider joining any guild that does not have one!!!!

I'm looking for a serious guild and I would like to be a part of some major wars, I will
not be satisfied with running around doing minor skirmishes or playing a criminal doing guerilla warfare.
I'd like to be a part of a city that stands proud and tall
saying I'm right over here
if you have a problem with it, you know where to go... if you dare!!!

I have not decided yet which side I'm going to play, So I will accept offers from both sides.

Is there anybody else from the carnage server around here?

I've seen many familiar guilds from SB on this forum, could be that some of my old friends and enemies is still around
could be fun to re-live old times he he :-)


I have been in many games since L2/RYL/WOW and many others, but nothing could really compare to SB, so I will not speak anymore of those games.

My guild could could use a person like you. For more information check out dedicated guild section.. we are close to the bottom.. name is "Dark Side of the Moon". We use ventrilo currently. Basically everything you said is in our gameplan. You can also hit one of the pictures in my signature to get to our DnL hosted guild section for more information... I have a guild from wow that I am expanding into a gaming community... hopefully we can grab some from there to fill the game up.. they will join at its release in november.

I might be able to use an advisor/troop commander among other things.

There are many good looking guilds here, as you have seen. DSotM is an excellent dark guild, but there are other good ones too.

We would be honored to have you check us out. Our website has much informantion about who we are and what we are about.

We agree about using a voice chat, and run a TS server on our site. We use it in every game, for some it is a convienience, for some it is an essential.

Its a dark guild. Many powerhouse guild's from AC 2 are playing light. You will find that there will probably be more lights then dark.... and with such a big world there will be no such thing as finding a place without a worthy opponent ^.^! I like your ideals... you will have fun with us.

Welcome old school SB player!

I played on the old Dread server when SB was launched and was guild leader of a subguild called Eternal Rising under The Black Watch.

We participated and I led a few in large battles on Ice Island against Legion Felix 7.

SO i know what you are talking about when you have to get up for a bane... hehe Those were some of the best times I had in gaming.

As for a guild, I was hesitant in leading another guild, but I believe my experiences in the past leading serveral guilds in Eq1, DAoC and SB will make Oblivion in DarkNLight one of the best.

Oblivion is a PvP heavy and RP lite guild. We have over 22 leadership positions open (Obisidan Court, Obsidian Senate, Knights Templar positions). With your experience, im sure these leadership positions would be a piece of cake.

I believe we have one of the most comprehensive charters here in DnL second to none. Our Charter is a living document larger than anyone in the guild. There are options for the guild as a whole to even remove the leader for incompotence *looks around, tightens collar and coughs* .

So if you are looking for a guild that stirves to be the "best" with fun and low stress. Take a look at us, Oblivion, The Premier DarkNLight Guild!

I believe LoD will be coming to LnD to
I'm pretty sure some great battles will appear on the server

I believe so, but its been a long time since I played SB... when I played max was 60.
