Everyone make sure to thank Sika for helping us get set up here!
FTW members, friends, and guests, please try to behave yourselves somewhat. You don't want to invoke the moderating wrath of me, Tyrone, and Zeiro, and we don't want that either.
That being said, FOR TEH WIN!
And FIRST!

Pretty much, or at least I'd really like to. I know before I started to play SWG 2 years ago, I was going to go imperial, but I started out as rebel because of the way some imperials were acting like asses in Moenia one day (I started out there). So I joined the rebellion out of spite of those guys and I kind of stuck with it because it was harder to win against a better organized enemy (or at least an enemy with a lot more like-minded folks than us :( ). So I want to be evil this time. :)

galaxies was a very good game otherwise we wouldnt have played it so long! SWG was what I would like to call an action RPG as in it didnt take long to find action and everything was close by. The combat system was never perfect but it was far more fun than wow or this game will be.

Troll. SWG's combat system was absolute and utter crap compared to WoW. The mere fact that it takes over 2 seconds for a command to register, even on a ghost-town server with no lag shows how crappy their system was.

Weak! Talk about lag go to Flipping IF or orgimirimir or w/e it is called! When I played WoW the servers constantly went down EVERYDAY it was about 2376726389x worse than bria could ever imagine! WoWs PvP was very lame if you were a low level and went to STV non stop ganking! The leveling in WoW was so so boring that game consumes so much time its not even funny! SWG was alot more fun and less carebearish than WoW!

When the hell did you play, Delta? Sounds like back during release. If you want to compare apples to apples, let's take a rundown of the list.
Release conditions:
SWG:
Servers weren't online for days
WoW:
Servers were up, but unstable due to 2 MILLION people trying to get going at the same time. Was fixed in under a week.
Patch releases:
SWG:
Half the "fixes" never worked, new bugs would always pop up and stay in the system for weeks-months-years, servers grew more unstable with each patch, and half the patches involved new cosmetic shit for housing.
WoW:
Very few bugs with new patches and ones that come up are minor and are almost always fixed within DAYS. Servers became more and more stable with each patch, up until the honor system patch, but the drain on server resources causing the instability was fixed quickly.
Server Status:
SWG:
Bria had a tendency to crash over the course of the last 2 years from several times a week, to several times a DAY. Each crash taking a bare minimum of 30 minutes to come back online, usually taking an hour or two normally, and down for DAYS at the worst time. Now the server is so unstable that you never know if you're actually going to get to log in each day. DAILY maintenance shutdown that entails a 3 hour plus downtime.
WoW:
Archimonde, the most heavily taxed server had issues during release that were fixed after two days with a three day upgrade. After that, the server would have occassional lag spikes, but was quite stable. Whenever the server crashed, it was back up in 5-10 minutes at the worst. Now the server almost never has problems, and when the server is shutdown to be fixed, it's back up quickly. Maybe once every few weeks. WEEKLY maintenance shutdown is usually 2 hours tops.
PvP Flagging:
SWG - TEFs, guildwars, and going overt. All completely and 100% the player's choice. People can be carebears if they choose to. Upon death you're back to safe status, even in guildwars now.
WoW - On PvP servers, if you leave the capitol cities or newbie lands, you're flagged for PvP 100% of the time from level 20 and up. If you play on a PvP server, you have no choice but to PvP unless you hide in the safe areas, which will prevent you from experiencing 95% of the game. Upon death, you can be attacked as soon as you rez. Corpse camping until someone spirit rezzes, then killing them by the graveyard until they log out will not be removed like SWG's clone camping was.
Travel:
SWG - Shuttles that used to require 10 minute waits, now 1 minute waits. Mounts and/or vehicles can be disabled/destroyed, and are money sinks to use.
WoW - Gryphons can be used at any point in time without waiting, and the cost of travel is negligible, even for new players. Mounts are a one time purchase (free for warlocks/paladins), have no upkeep cost, and cannot be destroyed unless you're drunk and accidentally destroy it yourself.
PvP Balance:
SWG - Pre and post CU, rifles, Jedi, and melee stackers > all. Every class has the ability to give themselves ample healing for any situation, making PvP very DPS dependent. CC has no counter other than sitting there and waiting (or /dueling an ally to break it, or a few exploits too).
WoW - Everything has a counter, including CC. The only real imbalance at this point are paladin invulnerability shields, allowing them to heal for 12 seconds without anything to stop them, and warrior DPS, which is being toned down. Lots of people whine about rogues and shaman, but most of these people are talking in 1v1 situations, and from my encounters with the whiners, they suck horribly at PvP to begin with. Did I mention no Jedi?
PvP Areas:
SWG - Faction bases. Not even all of them are for PvP anymore, you have to babysit them, people in the area don't have to be flagged for PvP, always have been buggy, and are all the same. Open access, so one side can zerg mindlessly, and lag in these battles is horrid.
WoW - Battlegrounds. 3 different ones so far, all of them completely different types of setups. Instanced battlegrounds, so you can go at any time if your server's PvP community doesn't suck ass, limited on max players from 10v10 in Warsong Gulch, 15v15 in Arathi Basin, and 40v40 in Alterac Valley. Alterac Valley is what base wars in SWG should have been to top all that off, and has only minor lag. There are also two FFA arenas where you can do cross-faction or in-faction FFAs or 5v5s.
Need I continue on for the mindless grinding in SWG on the same mobs over and over versus the dynamic quest-based leveling system in WoW? The post-CU inability to solo level, and the optional ability to solo grind in WoW if needed? The fact that instances in WoW aren't simply a gaggle of overpowered mobs with no real AI or challenge? The fact that you have to earn your gear instead of purchasing Chinese farmed currency if you want to be competitive? The fact that PvP ranking and factional ranks actually means more than a number assigned to your character in WoW? The far more detailed environments, characters, and special effects versus the bland graphics of SWG?
Tell me, HOW is SWG better? All SWG had was our server's community. Everything else about that game sucked horridly, and only got worse in time. On the flip side, WoW was more complete and less buggy in BETA than SWG has ever been at any point in live.

SWG ownz you nough said!
The only people who SWG owns are the morons who play it because "it's Star Wars." That game is SOOOO far away from Star Wars it's laughable. It's a shoddily put together MMO with a Star Wars skin to leech money off idiots who can't see past the setting or haven't ever played another MMO.

You're preaching to the choir to that extent. I'm lucky to get in more than 3 hours a night, if that, depending on my schedule. If that's what you're looking for though, Shadowbane and DAoC are MUCH better games in that respect, and their combat systems are far superior to Suckage With Garglefarts.
