Hail!

We are the Arctic Wolves, a new clan starting in Dark and Light. Here are some details...

Who: Currently we are small in number with more soon to join. Since this is a new clan we will be looking for new recruits. We would like to utilize stealth and weather but we will always have need for warriors of all kinds. Also it will be required that your character have a real name containing no numbers or symbols (ex. not something like oOlove2goOo). We welcome any who have loyalty and bravery in their hearts and hear the clash of battle on the winds.

What: We are a Light clan who is open to all races. Using the term "Light" relatively we will be focusing on combat, raiding and trade. Role-playing is encouraged as well as active participation in clan events and play. Activity and actions will be rewarded with rank and each member will be expected to support his\her comrades at all times. This of course includes the call to battle.

Where: Due to our name and nature we will mainly focus our attentions to the cold regions of the land. We will by no means limit our activities to them but we will be building a base in a cold area once a suitable local is reconed. We hope to use D&L's innovative weather system to our advantage.

When: As soon as the game opens or one of us gets in the beta

Why: If you have ever played an MMO before you will know that a clan gives you benefits valuable in such a dangerous world.

Im fairly interested in this clan. (cant decide if me and my friends will yet again start our own clan, or for a change join another one)

My biggest question and problem is: are you planning to have 1 timezone-type of players or totally international. From what i can tell it seems to be people from the other side of the pond mostely in this guild (that means in america).

We play at GMT+1, CET+0 (i think that is somewhere at Pacific time +7 ?)
Whats your stance on ppl from different playtimes?


About me:
I come form EvE:online, Lineage2, WorldOfWacraft mainly. Also played EQ2, RO and some other smaller mmo-games.

experiences:
I have been Clan leader over 60+ ppl corporation in EvE, i am clanleader of a guild in Lineage2, i was appointed Leader role after 1 week in my guild i was in, in WoW.
Im still thinking about perhaps start a new guild with my core friends as usual, but getting pretty tired of being the top-guy in the guild all the time ^_^. And i kinda like the spirit you guys seem to have here. Just a bit worried that theres gonna be an annoying timedifference.

Me and DnL:
Class; Frostspecced sorceress/rer
Craft: who? ill be something needed for clan, but its secondary.
RP: Depends, (meeting a total stranger in the lands; yes, talking shit with friends in guildchat; naah, probably not.)
PvP: point the way you want destruction to raign!
PvE: w00tw00t! nice loot!

Im an all-around gamer. My friends are pretty much the same. Depending on the stance you have on playtimes, and what my friends wanna do. We can perhaps get intouch.

Holy crap... where have I been. I havent checked this thread for awhile with all this SoG fiasco and the info release... I apologise. Anyhow, please give me some time to get back to you all... I am currently moving to a new city in december (thought SoG would be up by now) so I am very busy... however, The Arctic Wolves are lead by three people including myself so even if I get busy there will be people in charge. However, I am in charge of recruiting new members (and just about everything else it would seem :) ).

Don't worry if I can help it we will have plenty of euro folks to join in on the fun with. I for one live in Germany, but will be moving to Norway around Feb/March time frame. However I should still be in Central European time mayhaps minus 1 hours or so. Not to mention our UK folks in the clan, only hours behind you. So don't be put off by our US membership base. Look as up at start of SoG.
