The, now still empty, lands of Ganareth will soon be flooded with people. Even high elves and braves, in other words, scum of the earth, are allowed to exist on Ganareth. As long as they do not bother us with our quest ro build up a great Dark civilization then I wont bother them (unless we need to annex some land :) )

But I predict that in the near future no Brave or High elf will feel at home on Ganareth... when everything is Dark... they will hide in their little holes!

Light is opposed to Darkness.
Darkness is opposed to Light.
The seeds of darkness lie within the Light,

Thus is the cyclical nature of the universe - for where one aspect is dominant, the seeds within will sow the change to the dominance of the other and around and around.....

These facts are unavoidable. By the dark's very existance, light will always be - and vice versa.

You talk of dark and light as if you knew them both. Your philosophical discussion about how each of the two elements conceals a seed to eachother is more for poets and dreamers than seekers of wisdom.

Before there was light there was darkness. Nothing inside the darkness could ever spawn the light for it lies not in its nature to do so.

You say we will doom ourselves? The words of this balance you speak is nothing more than the words of a fool, blindly holding firm to the only chance for redemption he can find. Trying to calm the frightened children who are afraid of the dark. They should be. The dark once ruled supreme, and it shall do so again.

The only thing that withers and dies without nourishment is the light. Light may need the dark to define its very existence but the dark need nothing, it was there in the beginning and it will be there in the end, when all light has died away.

But since you are merely mortal I can not hope for you to understand these things, you can merely repeat what others have told you, and I can not blame you for your teachers incompetence. But since you made such a delightful attempt to reply I shall not neglect the effort you have made. Perhaps one day you will surprise us all and your entire race by finally, how shall I put it... see the light? Forgive me the irony of it all.

You assume that light and darkness was created from the same nothingness at the same time. I said in the beginning there was darkness. Out of chaos came first darkness. Before the hourglass of time began to turn there was an eternal night of darkness. When the Gods began to turn the Great Wheel, time was born. The passing of time caused the universe to build friction, in the end the energies were converging until the darkness could not hold, light was born. Not from darkness, but from the passing of time.

I shall not hold your confused emotions against you, and your attempts to turn my very own words against me holds no sway over me. Your belief that the two forces of light and darkness can exist in a form of harmony without one side eliminating the other in this time and age is the words of a dreamer, not the sign of wisdom or intelligence. The breaking of the moon has shown us that the time for peace is over, this world will be cleansed. And from the void a new world will be born, a world that is born from darkness, and darkness alone. The light is unpredictable and must eventually lead to its own destruction as the energies fade out and returns to nothing, only darkness prevails.

I appreciate your concern for all life, regardless of its nature. You carry a lot of faith Master Duoae, and faith can be a powerful shield. My past experiences with humans has not been... pleasant. Although I am impressed by your character you are still merely a child who yet can not grasp or understand the concepts or structures of this world. It is sad that you have chosen to be blinded by the light, I would have found it challenging to teach you the truth. Perhaps it is not yet too late for you to decide where your faith lies, perhaps there is still time for you to cast your past aside and be reborned into darkness?

I am sorry Denieru, but as you have noted i am forever on the side of light and law and truth as well.

Just one point before i quiet my voice - since, in reality we both could go round and round in this circular arguement (i see the way this arguement reflects the real truth).
Neither of us is willing to accept or accede to the others beliefs and so we could never hope to prevail against such strong advocates of light and dark.

When darkness was before light and there was no time - since as you have noted i am a mortal. With the lack of time there is everything and nothing at the same time. If you think of one point in time as a sheet of paper, a pictograph if you will, then the moving of time is like a "flick book" with the still images coming to life.
You say that darkness existed before time started? You are half right, as before time started all time was there - everything and nothing - every action and consequence...... jumbled together in a seething mass of events. But, as you may have already guessed what you perceived to be darkness was really the asbsence of the ability for light to travel. For light needs time to spread - whereas, without light, darkness is instantaneous.

Funny you should mention philosophy Duoae, I study philosophy at my university in Sweden. It´s my second year now, and yes, you should have studied philosophy instead of chemistry. Although, with a degree in chemistry you can manufacture drugs for local druglords. ;)
