Questions for SoF....

Hey after seeing your guild's great activity in the threads, I am very interested in your guild, even though I was planning on being light originally. However, I have some questions that I need answering before I will join.

1. What is(are) the goal(s) of SoF?
2. What requirements must I meet(other than dark alignment)?
3. What will I be expected to do (in game and outside the game)?


The next questions are just ones that i am interested in and don't really matter as far as me joining:

4. How many members do you have?
5. Will you be more magic-based or Fighter-based(or balanced)?
6. Do you plan on balancing duties so you'll have social as well as combat influence?

Any other information would be helpful, and apologize if some of the questions are answered on your site. I have been to your site once and plan to check it out again later today. I am not quite positive as to whether or not I will be in the guild, but if I decide not to, or I don't make it, I would still like to be "allied" or friendly with your guild. Hopefully I will get multiple response from this. I might also be in the IRC chat room on this site later. Thanks for the help and information. :cool: ;)

1. our goal is to unite the moons and restore the world to its original shape, we will do this by making 1 moon dominate (the dark one :P )

2. Activity is the main thing (activity does not include spamming (i point this out kinda often :P ))

3. What you will be expected to do is from what i know is right now to stay active, however all help you can give is of course warmly welcomed :)


4. i don't have the exact member numbers here but around 25 active members.

5. SoF had, has and will always have a well worked structure so we will probably cover all areas possible to us.

6. Yes, we will probably tell our enemyes that we will bash em up before we do it :P (joke) seriously, we will cover both fighting and social in DnL

well, if you wish to join us then i just want to make sure you know how the joining system works, first you need to send a mail to one of our GMs, you can read about what the content of the mail should be on www.sofdnl.com or www.sofltd.com/DnL when the mail is sent then a current member of SoF needs to recommend you (by reading your message here i can say that you have my recommendation in a box :P) and after that you become a SoF-jr for 2 weeks. when the 2 weeks trial is over then a vote will be cast whether you should be accepted in the guild or not, usually all you need to do is stay active and nice and the vote will go just fine. If the vote is successful then you have become a SoF member...

Do I need to post to be "active"?

I read the forums often but usually don't post because it isn't necessary, or I have no opinion. I have experience with other MMORPG's and have read most of the DEV chats on your site. As far as combat- By my signature u can tell i am planning to be a half-elf bard and will be largely social with exploration and some combat as well. I will check out your site in a bit and may sign up. Thanks again for that information!

Oh yeah! It appears I forgot to mention how much I admire you guild's role-playing skills!!! I will do my best to lighten our guilds mood with laughter and tales, though I am sure that your stories are much better! ;) :(

Ah, the roleplayers are mainly Denieru, but we will definetly do everything we can to maintain the roleplaying spirit. With activity we mean both posting and being on IRC, both are very important.

Im sorry for you not being able to find the link, as webmaster and designer of the site thats my mistake, but the solution would have been for you to log out, and you would agains have seen the joining menus.

I will change the site and make the menu visible until you beocome a SoF member :)
