Depends on the guild. Being in a guild might restrict your freedom, and get you enemies from the other side that you don't even know about.

Then again, some guilds offer benefits such as protection, payment for the job done, supplies and equipment, and the possibility of making a difference.
Soloing or in a group, it's how you prefere it... ;) An example of such an excellent guild would be Mystical Awakening... :P

I think its a good idea to get to know the game in depth and then see what each different guild is about before joining it.
by the way why is this in the rp section??

Guilds have benefits, you don't have to worry about trying to find people to hunt with. :o

Guilds will also allow you to generate SXP as you will be constantly around people to socialise with

The Tribe gathered just at the Edge of Camp
Six suits of Pristine Plate Armor reflected the fire's Light
in Ominous Halos....
Indeed the Tribe, which had nearly two dozen warriors, had Numbers
YET....The Knights wee riding Barded Mounts and carried Vicious Blades...
Quantity vs Quality....Who shalt be Victorous?

Let me think
Um
Quality? Some tribe guy would have like NO chance against
some knights!
OH hay I noticed you mentioned something about some 'Dark Raiders'
in last couple posts.
Is there a story there somewhere? If so goto the Topic I opened called
Campfire Stories and put it there
Down with the Light!

Hi er. do guilds have fights among the other guild?

That's probably on a guild to guild basis. A merchant guild is less likely to fight than a chaotic fighter's guild. I don't see any reason why it would be restricted assuming all inbuilt PK rules are followed (level restrictions and such) and all of the affected guilds agreed to it.

Funny...
Someone asks about the use of guilds, and you're all trying to recruit already!
If your guild is interesting, that is, if you're interesting, you'll have no trouble getting plenty of applications!
... or will you? ;)

Oph,
not in a guild yet but intending to play Dark
