I actually like parts of the NGE, but I've noticed lately that I'm having more fun on these forums posting & reading posts then actually playing SWG.

As many of you know practically all I do is PVP. Now that most of the quality rebel PVpers have left the game or just don't log in that often I'm stuck playing with mostly noobs against a fairly skilled imp crew.

This new development is more frusterating then anythign else & I've found myself actually doing better against groups of 2-6 imps solo then I do when I have a group of 4 noobs with me.

stats for the day solo: 7 kills 1 death in group with 4 noobs that I've NEVER ONCE seen out pvping before the NGE 1 kill 6 deaths against the same imps

Its jsut frustrating, but at the same time its a good thing because its giving me more time to get to know you guys.

i agree... everyone i have ever pvped with has left the game :( and the server seems so empty with 400 friends and 3 online.

I might have been one of those I'm playing only my alt Froidian Slip now because they bugged DaTick with the NGE & I havn'tbeen able to log himon once totry the NGE with my jedi.

Mostly what I fun into as far as imps PVPing on SWG is TXF they still have a descent amount of people PVping every day.

Every once in a while I get all exited because 1 person I PVPed with everyonce in a while is out there & then we group up & pawn people but other thenthat I'm going to start declinign groups every time unless a person Iused to PVp with is in it.

I jsut can't take groups full of PVP noobs any more.

That would require 11 people to be playing at the same time. Think someones fibing

But there are so few reb pvpers on regularly as itis if I go imp there won't be much of a challenge inthe PVp anymore. When the NGE went live I was able tokill up to 6 people at a time solo but nowthe imps have caught on & I can't take mroe then 3 at a time anymore.

The NGE had one week to draw me back before my accounts expired, but it just wasn't fun. I like to Pvp and all, but really SWG hasn't been a good PVP game for some time (so much downtime / pointless GCW). FPS games are fun for a while but they just won't hold my attention for more than a couple of weeks. Right now, Battlefront2 is a better game than SWG and I got tired of it in about 3 weeks.

I just want a good MMORPG again *sigh*

Well when/if I do finally quit SWG it willhave to wait till I can actually log on DaTick so I can give my items over to my guildies who are actually staying there.

How do you think i felt after the CU launched.

I saw 20 newbs a day pvping. 20 people i've never even seen before. The worst part of the whole thing is, that those people, the people i've never seen before, competly dominated me.

And people wonder why i had more fun on the fora than in-game.

ya I feal ya man I'm not upset about getting dominated myself solo I'm doing great its the noobs on my side doing stupid sh!t that gets me killed mroe often because I have no idea what they are doing & spend more time trying to keep them alive then killing the enemy.

I personally would rather know I don't have backup then be depending on people & have them not followthrough on the plan of attack.

Even in a new system like this one certain PVp skills from the PVp vets stick with you like how to work as a team. Knowing your roll in combat ect ect.


Most especially important is nto falling for the oldest tricks in the book when you have me yelling at you.....

"NO DON'T CHASE HIM THE OTHER 6 GUYS STANDING HERE ARE JUST GOING TO GO OVERT ON US!!!"

The list goes on & on but that was just today's adventure in PVP for me. While this is a new system & there are certain new things to figure otu those things which my group of 4 noobs kept doing over & over are common knowledge or would be after 1 hour of PVPing to a vetren PVper.

I like the NGE. It saves me $15/month.








Just a shame it made pretty much all the effort i've put into the game since about a month or 6 weeks after I started a waste.
