Go to your harddrive, delete the updates/patches.
Then, take some sandpaper and scrape it across your disks a couple good times. Or better yet, break them in two. Throw said disks in the garbage.

im completely honest here when i say i would be back in SWG in a heartbeat if, and _only_ if, they would go back to pre-CU, hell pre-pub-9 system

I have asked myself the question whether there was a way back for me into SWG. The answer must be "no".
The system went down and got simpler and simpler while making life for all the not pure combat profs worse and worse.
Even if they retracted the NGE we know how SOE thinks of and treats customers.

Well one thing I learned. I won't let another company treat me like that. I pay gladly for any game that is entertaining but I will not let a company let me starve by using the word "soon".

Well... Ailoovi still has his best stuff in his inventory (space components worth perhaps 500 hours of loot farming, a few pistols, some of mordeo's 7.6K energy resist armour, a few reward items and stuff like that) so I've kept my bases covered in case I want to return someday. With the state of the game right now, it's not likely I will. But if SOE can change for the better, and fix the game and make it interesting again, I might go back... you never know...

Yea, the one thing I was really kinda undecided about with SWG... I wondered if I'd be best off deleting my toons(not an option since I'm uninstalled). As wussy as they were, I kinda miss them already, and it does rather pain me to think of them mouldering away in SOEs crumbly, crappy database.
At any rate, if I leave them and decide to come back, I will at least still have my lucky stack of brandy, assuming they don't manage to fuxx0r the database.
