Chronicles of Matthiasa
“This shall be thou owns story. I shall start from the begining. My name Matthiasa was given to me by my grandfather in the year well actually that has been forgotten to time but most will tell you that I am at least 10,000 years old in not older. When I was 13 years old I was enrolled in the Academy of Swordsmanship and Magic. This is where I first meet Shadow and his brother Wodahs for whom I will tell you about later. There I studied the art of magic for which only a few there were studying. Most there were studying swordsmanship for their mental capacity was not high enough. I was one the best at the art of magic there which was actually no surprise to the mages and swordsmen that were teaching there for they knew the truth behind my birth which few others did. Soon I was learning simple fireball spells few of which could actually not do much harm to anything except to the occasional rat that I found in the forest around the academy that I was taught at, but that was still more then the mere sparks that the rest could get to come from their fingers . With in a few weeks I had learned some fire spells that could damaged stuff, like fire arrow which if I would cast at an unprotected human could actually burn there skin and cause them to lose limbs but I never did that there. The circle of fire that I was taught at that same time could electively stop the average human for attacking for they risked sever burns and death if they would stay in it for more then a few seconds. That spell could easily be negated with any anti-magic abilities. After those weak spells I learn many a fire magic like firestorm which I might add could takes the average mage decades to learn but I was only 14 years old. It was at that time I knew that I was unique. After about five or six years I had learned most if not all the fire magic that was being taught there for I cant be quite sure on that one for I think that they shall have feared me for my rapid learning of there magic that dealt with fire and that I could have turned on them if I figured out the truth to what actually happened that day to the surrounding area which I later learned they had burned down when they, themselves were trying to learn more fire spell from a forbidden book of darkness. What happened was that they were trying a new form of firestorm which produced 100’s of times more heat and effected area of about 100 Square miles. That was the first time that that spells was ever attempted. The spell backfired and destroyed most of the forest as I stated earlier. Few knew who didn’t see it happen that the forest was temporally replaced well at least visually with a massive illusion of the highest quality. After that incident they r stared to teach me lightning magic along with water earth and wind magic which I was already knew a little bit about. Like that I could create a weak thunder storm by using water and lightning together. Those storms couldn’t do much but they were enough to scare some villagers in the surrounding towns which most of the people still at the academy thought was kind of funny. The mages there taught me how to crated tornados, floods, powerful bolts of lightning, along with earthquakes, causing pillars of earth fall from the sky and truly epic thunderstorms and firestorm that were strengthen with the element of wind. Both of which could potentially level entire regions at my whim. Never did do that ether but it is a good thought knowing I could if deemed necessary. Well actually there couldn’t be a strong anti-magic shield there be cause that would stop most of it because when it can affect an area that large it doesn’t take an extremely powerful anti-magic shield to stop most of it though damage still would be moderate to high in a few areas that areas that are taking the brunt of the storm that is cast. When I about thirty years old I had learned most of the elemental based spells that the mages there knew. I started to learn more advanced forms of magic like basic necromancer abilities. I also was being taught the art of summoning. Some of the things were large groups of animals like giant rats that were 4 feet long from head to tail. They were infested with the bubonic plague and that had razor sharp teeth so not only would the person get the plague but they could be torn to pieces by the teeth that were a 4 inches long on average. Also I could summon swarms of poisonous spiders. They ranged in size from small baby spiders to giant iron sword spiders that were up to 30 feet long. They had legs that were so sharp that they could pierce up to 1 foot of steel. Funny thing about those iron sword spiders was that, with the amount of damage they could deal, a simple lightning spell could paralyze it for about a minute because their immense weakness to lightning but fared much better when attacked by almost anything else. It took me almost a year to learn how to properly and safely summon them because of there power. I also learned how to summon creature tike tigers, lions, bears, wild dogs, elephants, snakes, and even a few more powerful things like fire and water elementals. Also other things like elemental giants that could be upwards of 40 feet tall. It could be very dangerous to call forth elementals and elemental giants. I should know because I have call for them before and occasionally they go berserk and attacked me which by the way was not all that fun. But enough of that that for now I think it would be a good time to show you my familiar beast. I have named him Garnoth. I invoke thee Garnoth phoenix lord of fire light and the honorable way.”
For about 30 second after that a brilliant bluish white aura surrounded Matthiasa that was about 20 foot tall and going about 5 feet to the left and right of him. It was truly a sight to behold and light up area about 200 feet wide. But that was nothing because after that Garnoth came forth. He was at least 500 feet long and had a wing span that was probably that length if not longer. It was emanating an amount of heat that warmed up that dreary, damp night that was pitch black and that night was no warmer then about 10 degrees Fahrenheit to over 100 degrees in a mater of seconds. Mimic then said”Isn’t that phoenix the wrong color and isn’t it producing a lot more heat and light then it should be. Yes, I don’t know much about phoenixes but I do know that there expose to be reddish orange in color, light up almost nothing and only be about 10 feet long at most.”
“That is what most people are led to believe because those are by far the most common ones because the oldest most power and wise ones remain secluded high in the mountains where few dare to visit for fear of losing there lives the horrendous storms high in those mountains natural or magic. The strength of the storms is equal and few people can tell the difference.”
An arrow few past Matthiasa and he instantly put up a magical shield around him and Mimic that would protect them from most form of attack and reflect magical and ranged attacks back to there point of origin with the same amount of force. “Exactly how long did you know that they were there Matthiasa?”
“I knew since I began telling you the story of my life. I call forth Garnoth because they were readying to attack and I want Garnoth to get more experience in battle because it has been more then 20 years since he has had to fight anyone and with out practice he may become weaker and I don’t want to risk that. Garnoth power up a little more then attack the enemy!”
And with that Garnoth doubled in size then attacked the enemy. Garnoth lunched several balls of fire at the enemy but made sure not to kill too many of them then absorbed the strength of the rest. That cleared area about 2 miles wide of almost all enemies which was kind off surprising because that would usually take out all of them. So Garnoth lunched of few larger fireballs that were same color as he was. Those leveled the rest in the area. Then he started to focus his attack on more distant enemies. He then lunched a few bright white fire ball that had a few absorption abilities fused with them and all of the remaining enemies were gone burnt or absorbed making him a little stranger then but there was one person left how was named Wodahs. He then started to come closer to Matthiasa and Mimic. Wodahs then said” Matthiasa your reputation as a power mage is well deserving. You just leveled a group of a few thousand of my undead solders with no hesitation to use your familiar beast It was amazing his strengths but it also mean you are a lot stronger then your letting Mimic think you are”
“That may be so but even I don’t know my true power but I should be stated that it is far high then anyone else.”
“You may say that now but until you see my own power you should not say that for it could be wrong and I could be more powerful then you. With that said I will summon several bone golems clad in steel armor and using swords maces or axes.”
“I will agree on with it being known that I can destroy you mindless golem and you can’t destroy Garnoth my intelligent beast and friend for whom I have trained long and hard and taken care of for many millennia.”
“I will agree to those terms just to see how strong Garnoth can become.”
“Who ever said that he would have to use his full power?”
With that the golems and Garnoth began to fight each other. Mathiasa told Garnoth to power up more and to concentrate to fires power over an area only 20 feet wide instead of a few hundred causing the fire to become much more dangerous to any thing it touch. The golems charged Garnoth swinging their weapon with enough force to crake the gound where they hit making crevasses 1 foot wide and about 10 feet deep maybe more. So Garnoth just flew up a few hundred feet and fired a massive fire that was 15 feet wide and wide and produced a blinding light. When it hit the ground it created a crater about 30 feet wide. The golems though severely burnt, were still standing as well as ever and then started to take large boulders from the surrounding area and toss them at him almost hitting a few times but he moved out of the way. With the fire ball being ineffective Garnoth focused a large amount of energy in his claw and with that Garnoth dived down to the golems slicing them with his claws causing to golems to fall down and then the golems being unable to defend themselves had there power absorbed by Garnoth making him even stronger then strong but not by my much. Then Mathiasa and Mimic started to look for Wodahs.
“Mimic did you see were Wodahs gone?”
“No, I think we should try to find him though.”
“I will check were to golems were okay.”
“I will check the out laying area”
“I have found him. He must have been right next to the golems when the fireball hit them because he is at the bottom of the crater that it created.
Wodahs was badly damaged but living. He had cast a powerful shield spell that protected him from elemental attacks around himself which was evident by the remaining bluish green orb of magic still around him that still had some light shinning from it. So he was probably hurt when then magic orb was forced so far into the ground by the force that the fireball produced. 20 seconds later Wodahs stood and cast a few healing and regeneration spells on himself to heal his wounds. Wodahs at that point was seeking revenge on Mathiasa for his familiar almost killing him. Then look at Matthiasa and vowed that he would someday kill him. Then he teleported away in a yellowish flash starting his search for the fabled items of legend which were created tens of thousands of years ago by a powerful mage for who’s his name is known ball all yet is spoken by non for shear respect of him.
I was several years later and Matthiasa back in his castle which was by far the largest known to man and whose area was about 314 square miles and whose walls were 200 feet tall and 400 feet thick and surrounded the circular internal area. The walls were made stone that was enchanted with several spell on protecting it from all of the elements that are magical or natural. Another on protected the city from vampires and a small group of other undead creatures but not from the skeletal undead. It has also been magical strengthened to withstand blows 30 times more powerful then normal stone. Those enchantments make the cities walls almost impenetrable. There were also towers that were 400 feet tall but had wall only 50 feet thick so the magic on them was about 10 times strong and took many times longer to enchant because of the added complexity to the enchanting process. All the enchantments caused the walls and towers to have a blue aura emanating from them. The towers and walls had many archers, mages, pike men, and swordsmen. It also a few illusionists, summoners and siege weapons like the catapult, ballista, and trebuchet. All the equipment that the people are using has been enchanted in some way. Some examples of this are that some arrows start on fire or freeze when lunched. Other thing like swords may have fire emanating from the blade so it cuts and also burns the enemy if it contacts an enemy. The siege weapons and the projectiles have also been enchanted. In the center of the castles open area there was the massive keep that was over 1000 feet tall and had a base that covered one square mile in the center of it. The castle took over 1000 years to build because of its massive size and the fact that if was built on a 2000 foot tall plateau that was surrounded by a massive plain 100’s of miles in all direction so it took an extremely long time for the stone to get to the building sit but the was on large river flowing through the plain that comes within 4 miles of the site. The plain is covered with grasses about three feet tall and had many types of wildlife like birds, elephants, lions, a few phoenixes along with many other types of animal some are harmless others can be very dangerous and can kill legions of soldiers if they are not careful.
Mimic then came running in to the castle searching for Mathiasa. Matthiasa Sensed what Mimic was doing are started to go towards him to hear what he had to say. “Matthiasa have you been told yet. Wodahs has been search for the items of legend. And he has already found the Swords of Fate and The Soul Weaver.”
The Swords of fate are pair of sword hilts that will change to create a custom weapon that is optimal for the user to use based of his or her fighting styles, strength agility, mobility and a few other factors. The Soul Weaver is a device that allows the user to gain one tenth of the total strength of his allies and lesser percentages of other abilities like running speed, jumping height, agility, and neurological connection speed to use. An example of this would be if your group as a whole could carry 10 tons of material you could carry 1 ton. Another example would be if your group could run at a combined total of 10000000 miles per hour or 1,000,000 men running at 10 miles per hour would allow you to move at 1000 miles per hour but the item does have limit to how much it can increase your abilities by except for the person’s strength. The limit for speed is 1000 miles per hour. That item will also change the person’s body to cope with some of the abilities like running speed, agility, and to withstand the pressures of falling for the great heights you could jump.
“No, I have not been told that yet Mimic but I did know he was looking. I have four items myself but have never used them. One of them can make my abilities get 100 times higher it would also make my familiars abilities 100 times higher. I have another that can cause the normally harmless but sometimes frightening illusion to become real and very dangerous. The third is a just a simple mana storage jar but it can be held in just one hand and can hold an infinite amount of mana and can actually increase the amount in there by about 10 percent a day so if I put say 1,000,000 mana in it in 10 day it will have more then doubled in amount without anyone adding to it. The forth is an item that allows me know were the other items of legend are. It was also the first one I found about 1000 years ago.”
“How come you never told me about those items be for? Also you say you are over 1000 years old though you look no older then 60 you don’t have any problems with movement how is that even possible? Not that I don’t think you that old you just don’t look that old.”
“You never ask if I had any of them before now so I had no need to tell you. Also I look like a 60 man be cause of an illusion imbedded in one of the things I ware.”
“Wodahs is also coming this way with almost 50,000,000 soldiers all appear to be wearing high quality but he is the only one with enchanted weapons. They will be here in about one and half years because he has to cross over the Red Moon Mountain range that has the highest mountains in the world and the lowest and easiest path to take is still 22,000 feet high and it is almost always snowing there and wind are usually blowing about 100 miles per hour.”
Okay I will send out my messengers and warriors to gather any army and bring it here within 15 months.
With that most of Matthiasa’s messengers and warriors left the castle to gather an army. “Matthiasa now that you have sent out your people to gather an army what will you do”
“I will go out in search of Shadow. He has been my long time friend and is also the most powerful illusionist in the world. He is able to create illusionary armies and even gods along with a few other very powerful things.”
Matthiasa went to find shadow. He walked over large areas of the plain that is around his castle. He then came to a path in the mountains to the south. Wodahs is coming from the north of his castle. The path was very windy with it blowing an average of 40 miles per hour. It was snowing about an inch a day. The path was also in a goblin territory so the goblins were everywhere along the path. They would also attack him so he called for Garnoth and told him to attack and kill any goblin that attacked them. Matthiasa found the cave were shadow was and entered it. There were many creatures like trolls, goblins and spiders in the cave. Matthiasa attacked all of them with combination fire and lightning spell even though he knew that 90 percent of them were just illusions. He then found Shadow deep in the cave and they started to talk
“Shadow I need you to help me defend my castle and country from Wodahs you brother. Has massed an army over 50,000,000 men strong and it is heading toward my castle to destroy it.”
“I can help you protect your castle but I don’t see why you truly need me because my illusion no matter how real they look they are still harmless.’
“You will find out just as soon as we get back to my castle, how it will work. Once there I have something to give you.”
They teleported back to the castle because it is much quicker. Matthiasa didn’t teleport to the cave because it is very dangerous to so and if I you end up in the cave wall you will die.
“Take this Shadow it will cause all you illusions to become real. I have no real need for it since I don’t cast too many illusions.”
“But this is an of the item legend. Those items are the rarest items in the entire world. There are only 6 items that are in that fall into that group.”
I know that but even after I gave you that, I will still have three more of the items of legend.”
“How did you get so many and how many does Wodahs have if gave me one.”
“I have so many because I have been searching for them for over 1000 years. Wodahs has two of them so it’s still not going to be an easy fight. Not to mention the size of his army.”
“That does explain why you have so many of the items.”
Over the next few weeks the messengers and warriors start to come back to the castle and training commenced. They had gathered 5,000,000 men to fight. After about two months of training most were decent swordsmen and knew the tactics that Shadow had taught them. The also all had some enchanted equipment to give them an edge in combat but it couldn’t help them out to much because they were still out numbered ten to one. Three months latter Wodahs was on the plains and was marching his army south. As Wodahs began to get closer shadow started to create an illusionary army of army of about 100,000 archers. Of course this time they will deal real damage. They had the absolute best equipment that they could have as archers. There enchanted bows and arrows aloud them to shot a half a mile with frost, flame, poison cloud, lightning, water, and swam arrows. The battle then commenced as Wodas and his troops march to the base of the plateau and many of them begin to climb it. It took several days for his entire army to gather on the top. The largest of his units he ordered to take the ramps up but told every one else to stay clear of it so the larger thing like catapults and giants could get up to the top. When the army got to within one forth of a mile from the walls the archers opened fire on the enemy. There were arrows of several divergent colors mark the different abilities. The first arrows used were the fire arrows they created blasts of fire 10 feet in diameter and were 1000 degrees. Those arrows devastated the first groups to attack killing tens of thousands of enemies and also catering the area. Then the enemy got with in to range to attack using there catapults they started lunched 1 ton balls of stone. They could fire once every 5 minute and with them having 1000 of them it could be devastating be each stone would create a small hole about two feet deep and wide. Then their swords men rushed to attack Matthiasa’s army out side the wall both sides clashed for several days then by the end of that clash about half of Matthiasa’s army and one forth of Wodahs army was dead. There was by now millions of small craters in the wall but none were more then 50 feet deep and the wall was still standing strong. So Wodahs Summoned any army of 10,000,000 skeletal warriors to attack Matthiasa’s army again this time his forced were crushed and only a few thousand remained then suddenly Shadow noticed a blackish streak that was moving along the front lines cutting down all of Mathiasa’s remaining soldiers out side the wall in only a few seconds. Then it leaped on to the wall a miraculous 200 hundred feet high then Shadow realized it was Wodahs his brother and he must be stop. He told Matthiasa to slow down or stop time in that area so he did but it didn’t completely work because the stop time spell only slowed him down to the speed of an average man but his strength was still jut as high as ever so Matthiasa called out Garnoth and told him to power up to full power. And a white aura of magical energy surrounding him it created a blinding light and also made a 50 foot deep crater from Garnoth raw power. He was over two miles long. He flew about 10 miles high and launched hundreds of very small fireballs capable of incinerating almost anything at Wodahs all of them hit but then Matthiasa noticed that he wasn’t even damaged and that something was wrong because that should have been able to destroy almost any thing. It was at this point the Matthiasa did something unexpected he showed his true power and his skills. There was a powerful gust of wind at least 300 miles per hour. There was then an immense sound so loud it sounded as if the heavens themselves were ripped apart. The ground shook so violently that the walls nearly crumbled to the ground. Massive fissures opened in the ground over 30 miles deep. It appeared to go from day to night as the clouds darkened the sky then there was lightning flashing a crossed the sky and then it was done Matthiasa’s transformation was complete he as at his true power, his true form. Many fled fearing his true power. All that could sense power, could sense him whether on this plant or the other side of the universe. It was as if a god had transcended Earth only he was greater, more powerful then any and all of their gods. No one else could even imagine being that powerful yet he was. And With a quick motion of his hand he took Wodahs items away and banished him to a faraway land. Many praised Matthiasa but many also began to fear his power for it was too great to be stopped by anyone or any thing.

“That may be so but even I don’t know my true power but I should be stated that it is far high then anyone else.”
“You may say that now but until you see my own power you should not say that for it could be wrong and I could be more powerful then you. With that said I will summon several bone golems clad in steel armor and using swords maces or axes.”
“I will agree on with it being known that I can destroy you mindless golem and you can’t destroy Garnoth my intelligent beast and friend for whom I have trained long and hard and taken care of for many millennia.”
“I will agree to those terms just to see how strong Garnoth can become.”
“Who ever said that he would have to use his full power?”
With that the golems and Garnoth began to fight each other. Mathiasa told Garnoth to power up more and to concentrate to fires power over an area only 20 feet wide instead of a few hundred causing the fire to become much more dangerous to any thing it touch. The golems charged Garnoth swinging their weapon with enough force to crake the gound where they hit making crevasses 1 foot wide and about 10 feet deep maybe more. So Garnoth just flew up a few hundred feet and fired a massive fire that was 15 feet wide and wide and produced a blinding light. When it hit the ground it created a crater about 30 feet wide. The golems though severely burnt, were still standing as well as ever and then started to take large boulders from the surrounding area and toss them at him almost hitting a few times but he moved out of the way. With the fire ball being ineffective Garnoth focused a large amount of energy in his claw and with that Garnoth dived down to the golems slicing them with his claws causing to golems to fall down and then the golems being unable to defend themselves had there power absorbed by Garnoth making him even stronger then strong but not by my much. Then Mathiasa and Mimic started to look for Wodahs.
“Mimic did you see were Wodahs gone?”
“No, I think we should try to find him though.”
“I will check were to golems were okay.”
“I will check the out laying area”
“I have found him. He must have been right next to the golems when the fireball hit them because he is at the bottom of the crater that it created.
Wodahs was badly damaged but living. He had cast a powerful shield spell that protected him from elemental attacks around himself which was evident by the remaining bluish green orb of magic still around him that still had some light shinning from it. So he was probably hurt when then magic orb was forced so far into the ground by the force that the fireball produced. 20 seconds later Wodahs stood and cast a few healing and regeneration spells on himself to heal his wounds. Wodahs at that point was seeking revenge on Mathiasa for his familiar almost killing him. Then look at Matthiasa and vowed that he would someday kill him. Then he teleported away in a yellowish flash starting his search for the fabled items of legend which were created tens of thousands of years ago by a powerful mage for who’s his name is known ball all yet is spoken by non for shear respect of him.
I was several years later and Matthiasa back in his castle which was by far the largest known to man and whose area was about 314 square miles and whose walls were 200 feet tall and 400 feet thick and surrounded the circular internal area. The walls were made stone that was enchanted with several spell on protecting it from all of the elements that are magical or natural. Another on protected the city from vampires and a small group of other undead creatures but not from the skeletal undead. It has also been magical strengthened to withstand blows 30 times more powerful then normal stone. Those enchantments make the cities walls almost impenetrable. There were also towers that were 400 feet tall but had wall only 50 feet thick so the magic on them was about 10 times strong and took many times longer to enchant because of the added complexity to the enchanting process. All the enchantments caused the walls and towers to have a blue aura emanating from them. The towers and walls had many archers, mages, pike men, and swordsmen. It also a few illusionists, summoners and siege weapons like the catapult, ballista, and trebuchet. All the equipment that the people are using has been enchanted in some way. Some examples of this are that some arrows start on fire or freeze when lunched. Other thing like swords may have fire emanating from the blade so it cuts and also burns the enemy if it contacts an enemy. The siege weapons and the projectiles have also been enchanted. In the center of the castles open area there was the massive keep that was over 1000 feet tall and had a base that covered one square mile in the center of it. The castle took over 1000 years to build because of its massive size and the fact that if was built on a 2000 foot tall plateau that was surrounded by a massive plain 100’s of miles in all direction so it took an extremely long time for the stone to get to the building sit but the was on large river flowing through the plain that comes within 4 miles of the site. The plain is covered with grasses about three feet tall and had many types of wildlife like birds, elephants, lions, a few phoenixes along with many other types of animal some are harmless others can be very dangerous and can kill legions of soldiers if they are not careful.
Mimic then came running in to the castle searching for Mathiasa. Matthiasa Sensed what Mimic was doing are started to go towards him to hear what he had to say. “Matthiasa have you been told yet. Wodahs has been search for the items of legend. And he has already found the Swords of Fate and The Soul Weaver.”
The Swords of fate are pair of sword hilts that will change to create a custom weapon that is optimal for the user to use based of his or her fighting styles, strength agility, mobility and a few other factors. The Soul Weaver is a device that allows the user to gain one tenth of the total strength of his allies and lesser percentages of other abilities like running speed, jumping height, agility, and neurological connection speed to use. An example of this would be if your group as a whole could carry 10 tons of material you could carry 1 ton. Another example would be if your group could run at a combined total of 10000000 miles per hour or 1,000,000 men running at 10 miles per hour would allow you to move at 1000 miles per hour but the item does have limit to how much it can increase your abilities by except for the person’s strength. The limit for speed is 1000 miles per hour. That item will also change the person’s body to cope with some of the abilities like running speed, agility, and to withstand the pressures of falling for the great heights you could jump.
“No, I have not been told that yet Mimic but I did know he was looking. I have four items myself but have never used them. One of them can make my abilities get 100 times higher it would also make my familiars abilities 100 times higher. I have another that can cause the normally harmless but sometimes frightening illusion to become real and very dangerous. The third is a just a simple mana storage jar but it can be held in just one hand and can hold an infinite amount of mana and can actually increase the amount in there by about 10 percent a day so if I put say 1,000,000 mana in it in 10 day it will have more then doubled in amount without anyone adding to it. The forth is an item that allows me know were the other items of legend are. It was also the first one I found about 1000 years ago.”
“How come you never told me about those items be for? Also you say you are over 1000 years old though you look no older then 60 you don’t have any problems with movement how is that even possible? Not that I don’t think you that old you just don’t look that old.”
“You never ask if I had any of them before now so I had no need to tell you. Also I look like a 60 man be cause of an illusion imbedded in one of the things I ware.”
“Wodahs is also coming this way with almost 50,000,000 soldiers all appear to be wearing high quality but he is the only one with enchanted weapons. They will be here in about one and half years because he has to cross over the Red Moon Mountain range that has the highest mountains in the world and the lowest and easiest path to take is still 22,000 feet high and it is almost always snowing there and wind are usually blowing about 100 miles per hour.”
Okay I will send out my messengers and warriors to gather any army and bring it here within 15 months.
With that most of Matthiasa’s messengers and warriors left the castle to gather an army. “Matthiasa now that you have sent out your people to gather an army what will you do”
“I will go out in search of Shadow. He has been my long time friend and is also the most powerful illusionist in the world. He is able to create illusionary armies and even gods along with a few other very powerful things.”
Matthiasa went to find shadow. He walked over large areas of the plain that is around his castle. He then came to a path in the mountains to the south. Wodahs is coming from the north of his castle. The path was very windy with it blowing an average of 40 miles per hour. It was snowing about an inch a day. The path was also in a goblin territory so the goblins were everywhere along the path. They would also attack him so he called for Garnoth and told him to attack and kill any goblin that attacked them. Matthiasa found the cave were shadow was and entered it. There were many creatures like trolls, goblins and spiders in the cave. Matthiasa attacked all of them with combination fire and lightning spell even though he knew that 90 percent of them were just illusions. He then found Shadow deep in the cave and they started to talk
“Shadow I need you to help me defend my castle and country from Wodahs you brother. Has massed an army over 50,000,000 men strong and it is heading toward my castle to destroy it.”
“I can help you protect your castle but I don’t see why you truly need me because my illusion no matter how real they look they are still harmless.’
“You will find out just as soon as we get back to my castle, how it will work. Once there I have something to give you.”
They teleported back to the castle because it is much quicker. Matthiasa didn’t teleport to the cave because it is very dangerous to so and if I you end up in the cave wall you will die.
“Take this Shadow it will cause all you illusions to become real. I have no real need for it since I don’t cast too many illusions.”
“But this is an of the item legend. Those items are the rarest items in the entire world. There are only 6 items that are in that fall into that group.”
I know that but even after I gave you that, I will still have three more of the items of legend.”
“How did you get so many and how many does Wodahs have if gave me one.”
“I have so many because I have been searching for them for over 1000 years. Wodahs has two of them so it’s still not going to be an easy fight. Not to mention the size of his army.”
“That does explain why you have so many of the items.”
Over the next few weeks the messengers and warriors start to come back to the castle and training commenced. They had gathered 5,000,000 men to fight. After about two months of training most were decent swordsmen and knew the tactics that Shadow had taught them. The also all had some enchanted equipment to give them an edge in combat but it couldn’t help them out to much because they were still out numbered ten to one. Three months latter Wodahs was on the plains and was marching his army south. As Wodahs began to get closer shadow started to create an illusionary army of army of about 100,000 archers. Of course this time they will deal real damage. They had the absolute best equipment that they could have as archers. There enchanted bows and arrows aloud them to shot a half a mile with frost, flame, poison cloud, lightning, water, and swam arrows. The battle then commenced as Wodas and his troops march to the base of the plateau and many of them begin to climb it. It took several days for his entire army to gather on the top. The largest of his units he ordered to take the ramps up but told every one else to stay clear of it so the larger thing like catapults and giants could get up to the top. When the army got to within one forth of a mile from the walls the archers opened fire on the enemy. There were arrows of several divergent colors mark the different abilities. The first arrows used were the fire arrows they created blasts of fire 10 feet in diameter and were 1000 degrees. Those arrows devastated the first groups to attack killing tens of thousands of enemies and also catering the area. Then the enemy got with in to range to attack using there catapults they started lunched 1 ton balls of stone. They could fire once every 5 minute and with them having 1000 of them it could be devastating be each stone would create a small hole about two feet deep and wide. Then their swords men rushed to attack Matthiasa’s army out side the wall both sides clashed for several days then by the end of that clash about half of Matthiasa’s army and one forth of Wodahs army was dead. There was by now millions of small craters in the wall but none were more then 50 feet deep and the wall was still standing strong. So Wodahs Summoned any army of 10,000,000 skeletal warriors to attack Matthiasa’s army again this time his forced were crushed and only a few thousand remained then suddenly Shadow noticed a blackish streak that was moving along the front lines cutting down all of Mathiasa’s remaining soldiers out side the wall in only a few seconds. Then it leaped on to the wall a miraculous 200 hundred feet high then Shadow realized it was Wodahs his brother and he must be stop. He told Matthiasa to slow down or stop time in that area so he did but it didn’t completely work because the stop time spell only slowed him down to the speed of an average man but his strength was still jut as high as ever so Matthiasa called out Garnoth and told him to power up to full power. And a white aura of magical energy surrounding him it created a blinding light and also made a 50 foot deep crater from Garnoth raw power. He was over two miles long. He flew about 10 miles high and launched hundreds of very small fireballs capable of incinerating almost anything at Wodahs all of them hit but then Matthiasa noticed that he wasn’t even damaged and that something was wrong because that should have been able to destroy almost any thing. It was at this point the Matthiasa did something unexpected he showed his true power and his skills. There was a powerful gust of wind at least 300 miles per hour. There was then an immense sound so loud it sounded as if the heavens themselves were ripped apart. The ground shook so violently that the walls nearly crumbled to the ground. Massive fissures opened in the ground over 30 miles deep. It appeared to go from day to night as the clouds darkened the sky then there was lightning flashing a crossed the sky and then it was done Matthiasa’s transformation was complete he as at his true power, his true form. Many fled fearing his true power. All that could sense power, could sense him whether on this plant or the other side of the universe. It was as if a god had transcended Earth only he was greater, more powerful then any and all of their gods. No one else could even imagine being that powerful yet he was. And With a quick motion of his hand he took Wodahs items away and banished him to a faraway land. Many praised Matthiasa but many also began to fear his power for it was too great to be stopped by anyone or any thing.
