Good choice, but there were so many great songs in the decade. Its so difficult to choose, Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, The Clash, Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream......... aaaah too many

Teenage Kicks by the Undertones is one of my favourites but there was so much more, anything by the Boom Town Rats or Police in late 70's was good, early 70's you had Slade and Sweet, tons more good stuff by many other groups as well

Excellent choice, even if the Style Council did go a bit weird, The Jam were awesome.

Would probably go with Joy Division though - great band :)
