Al-Drifa
Two years have passed since the companions brought together by the treachery of the Marquis, Caruse, fled the destruction of Dusha Ogohn and the onslaught of Dragoon ...
Those who took refuge upon the pirate ship Renraku have come to know a life on the high seas. Much has changed since the fated day when the city that had been home to so many lit the horizon in flames and vanished in an instant. Some have become friends, comrades, while some still habor the old hatreds and old secrets.
Presently... The Renraku drifts into the harbor of Al-Drifa, her sails tattered and her hull worn and battered. She is in need of repairs, but gold and resources are slight. It is the first time that the crew or the refugees have set foot in civilization in two years. Wine and women are plenty... as well as old oaths yet unfulfilled.
Avarian has given the crew of the Renraku leave to explore the city, visit the taverns and the brothels, and gather information. The ship will not be ready to sail until it has been repaired and the crew has been gathered.
