Gaeth and Niamh, wood elven brother and sister, connected by a strong bond to the misty memory of Neutra Goddess, went into the forest in search of a home. They had creative urges, to make that which was rudimentary until now into that which is sublime. They had wild urges, to find androgynous elves like themselves and form a new clan. They had harmonious urges, to live in harmony with all creatures of the forest. They had wise urges, to create a council that would rule over their newfound village and clan; to oversee the sharing of all knowledge, resources, food and housing.
They had a creed, which they named FocketNo, to use as the source of all council decisions. Any being in the clan who felt a deep FocketNo in regard to a council decision would be heard and counted as an end to the search for Agreement, and Agreement must be reached among the council before any decision was enacted.
Gaeth was the younger of the two siblings, and a gentler man could not be found. He had great empathy for all creatures, and was the epitome of Androgyny, a cord which ran strong from Neutra to these two elves who lived in her memory. He was beautiful, he was nurturing, he was strong without rancor and slow to anger. His voice was lilting, and he told amusing tales to keep their journey light.
Niamh, the elder of the two, was passionate and introverted. She could tell tales from biting humor to deep wonder, and often was found pondering the flames of the fires they warmed themselves by at night. She felt her connections to the moons above in a deep manner. She had great understanding of that which is not seen. Magic ran like wildfire through her being.
While Gaeth watched and felt empathy for all beings, he kept himself separate and was therefore more able to communicate and negotiate with them. Niamh became the essence of many beings to understand their nature more deeply, and did not always return to her own self in concord with what she had transformed into. Therefore Gaeth was likely to be more social with all they met through their wanderings, while Niamh was likelier to confine herself to those with which she felt a deeper kinship.
During the course of their journey they met many folk and they learned much from each acquaintance. There were three who made such an impression they joined the brother and sister in their travels...
Aisling, a young wood elf, was lounging in the topmost branches of a tree as Niamh and Gaeth passed by. Niamh heard the rustle of movement and was not completely surprised when an acorn settled into her hair. She gently withdrew it from her curls and spoke to it "Ahh, just a young one, with so much growing to do."
"I am full-grown thank you very much!" resounded from up the tree trunk.
"Care to come down here and prove this assertion?" replied Niamh. And with that, Aisling joined their group, a bow slung over her shoulder, a quiver of arrows attached to her hip, and a beaming grin on her face which indeed belonged to a full grown woman.
Another day the three elves were settling down by a brook to have lunch, when they were jarred by screams pressing ever closer. They armed wands and arrows and turned toward the source of the commotion; bursting from a thicket two dismayed but grinning wood elves bound directly toward them followed by a satyr seething with anger. “I told you not to wink at him!” One yelled as the other veered in the threesomes direction yelling “Help! Help?”
As the Satyr took stock of the new unfolding battle, he eyed Niamh and Aisling standing side by side with sword and bow drawn. Stopping short of the group he bowed, winked at the women and bounded off in another direction. After the two elves stopped laughing they introduced them selves as Desa and Girsh. Gaeth grinned and welcomed them to lunch. “Boys.” Aisling said smiling. “Satyrs.” Niamh added.
One night, under a crescent moon full of silvery light, the group danced among a circle of trees they had discovered. As they danced they shed their clothes, weaving in and out of the trunks of the trees, playing their flutes in harmony, until it seemed they were two less. Niamh and Aisling had gone, no-one knew where. The night progressed joyous and filled with wonder... and again, the dance carried on with two less... Girsh and Desa had gone.
By the time dawn lifted her wings over the horizon only Gaeth was left among the circle of trees, and a vision fluttered into his senses He saw a little fairy before him, speaking in a tongue he somehow understood, leaving him with thoughts more profound then any he had encountered before.
Niamh and Aisling wandered out of the forest with grins on their faces and leaves in their hair. Girsh and Desa joined the group in the clearing with smiles and leaves in their hair as well. Gaeth looked at them with great amusement, but before he began to tease them ( as was his wont) he found himself expressing the profound thoughts that his night had given birth to.
"Let us live here, and call ourselves the founders of this village we build, let us call it the Divine Crescent. Let us create here, and call ourselves Council for all our needs. Let us make a clan here, and call our clan the Divine Artistes. What say you all?"
The rest giggled their assent, in truth, they would have giggled agreement at almost anything that was presented to them, and their moods were so intensely silly.
And so the clan of Divine Artistes was formed, and the village of Divine Crescent was founded out of a very silly night rift with dancing, love, and a friendly fairy.

Divine Artistes is a guild populated mostly by crafters. Crafting and supporting classes will be our main focus, although all aspects of Dark and Light gameplay will be sought. We are a LIGHT oriented clan and we will welcome any races and classes that hold the same ideals.
We welcome mature, thoughtful and open minded members of the community to commune with us. We are a very close-knit group of friends who share our lives outside the game as much as in. We do not descriminate in any way. We're fully open to anyone of any race, religion, sexual orientation, gender, etc. No one will be turned away on this basis. In fact, one of the main ideals of our group is that we provide a "safe haven" of supportive friends for each of our members.
However, due to the nature of most virtual communities, officially joining our clan will be done on a case-by-case, well thought-through process.
Our website is still under construction, but our guild forums can be found HERE (http://techgrrlz.com/divaforum).
