Classes and race update

Great, an update as to what classes and races will be in the game.

Races
Tallest
- ½ Troll
- ½ Orc
- Barbarian

Middle:
- Human
- ½ Elf
- High Elf
- Wood Elf
- Dark Elf

Smallest:
- Dwarf
- Gnome
- Lutin
- Faery

Classes
- Wizard
- Illusionist
- Enchanter
- Necromancer
- Archer/Amazon
- Bard
- Rogue
- Ranger
- Druid
- Cleric
- Paladin
- Monk
- Warrior
- Shadow Knight

So far they look great. Since I played Everquest I know what most of the classes will be like but I'm having trouble with Illusionist. Never run across that one.

I do have a question bout 1/2 Troll and 1/2 Orc. Do these mean half human/half troll and half orc/half human or are they a cross with another race?

Any more detail on classes? Will they mirror an existing system, ie., Forgotten Realms or D&D3 core classes? Give me a D&D3 Old Order Monk from the Silverymoon Mountains with a weap spec in Exotic and I'll be just fine, thank yew. Why, no, I'm not planning on reincarnating a crate of old paper characters, why do you ask?

In EQ an illusionist was a high level enchanter (past 50) so im not sure what it will be in DnL. Im very curious about this myself.

Im almost 100% sure they are half human yes. Speaking of Half Troll... sucks that Fairies, Lutins and Half Trolls are looking like they will be not in at release. Very disapointing...

Did you just update the list yourself? First off, Barbarian is not a race...It's an unlockable class (I think you meant Brave) along with Shaman. I'm also curious why you combined Archer and Amazon...If you found this info somewhere besides the .Com site please let me know :shifty:

the Last Great race (instead Barbarian) is Brave
Amazon is the old name for Archers
Barbarian and Shaman will be 2 unlockable classes.
All half race are cross between human and their main race.

Lol neo and I were doing a search for the oldest post left on the boards. I think the oldest we could find was in 2003. This predates 95% of all of the people here including 3/4s of the mods. This deserves a special place other then to just be deleted :clap: :dance: :clap: .

before it was easy just using the member lists now however its almost impossible to find any of the old posts. I spent a good two-three days when I was board searching for an older one and all I could find were 2003s.

mebbe i'm just stoopid or it's because i missed the whole mmorg thing because i was mudding, but this forum has been up for 2 YEARS...
that's a little long to be waiting on a new game methinks. the only mmorg i've ever played (and the one that got me interested in the whole mmorg thing) was ffxi, and that's because i'm an avid final fantasy fan(played and beaten all of them, including japanese-only ones), and i didn't know ffxi was a mmorg...(duh) i don't even know where i was 2 years ago...
