Dont know if others are getting this error but i get it a lot, however, i now know how to rectify it.
Go into the profiles folder in your SoG folder, then into the folder with the same name as the toon you want to log in. In this folder there is another folder named Soic. Delete everything inside this folder and then you should be able to log in without the error.
Some people say that you need to delete the whole Profiles folder but i have been told otherwise and simply doing the above worked for me.
