I walked into a town called Halget, it was quiet the streets where barren except for a drunk and a few feral dogs. I walked to the drunk to ask him a question before I could say any thing he punched me in the stomach and fled for a dark corner. “Bloody drunk maggot” I yelled as I caught my breath. I decided to let it go since I didn’t feel like starting uproar by slaying the town drunk. So I went on my way I came upon the local tavern and went inside. There was a man there sitting at the table staring at me in very angry fashion. I blew it off when the wench brought me my ale but I could still feel his eyes piercing the back of my head. Finally I stood up and yelled “what is it old man, I don’t need you eyeing me down like I killed your mother” he got up and walked to my table and sat down “sit down you fool”. So I did what he said “what do know of this village my boy……not very much I assume so how would an able paladin like yourself want to take on a task of the utmost importance” he said “I’m listening old man what is it that you had in mind”. We talked for many hours he explained about the problem with bandits and the place where they resided called the “cleft of the earth” it sounds like a great fortress but really it’s an old outpost in the swamps just to the south. The bandits had been raiding supply trains and stealing small children to sell to the orcs. The orcs would raise the children to be breeders of half orcs. Half orcs are the emissary’s of the orcen world they can speak human tongue and hold a more docile mannerism. I decided to accept his task as long as they would supply me with 5 foot soldiers to help me. So for a week we prepared I stayed in a farmers house and we honed our skills dueling in the yard. The soldiers where a little rusty in there combat skills but by the end of the week they where ready to fight the upcoming strife. On the 8th day we left the soldiers sung battle hymns that there fathers sang in the old dark wars. We hiked for three hours and finally we came upon it, it was a run down structure that seemed to reek of brine and death. The gate was left open so we snuck into the yard nobody was there so we found a window and crept through it silently. There was a table of them sitting in the fore room three to be exact we held a count of 4 then we lept for the attack. They jumped up but it was to late we over powered them and ran our swords through there guts. We heard the clamor of chain mail coming up the stair a young man emerged from the door way I swung my blade and cleaved his head from his shoulders. we went down the stair from which the young man came at the bottom we found the cells where they where keeping the children. But they where all empty we where to late they children had been sold I seamed my fist into the wall. We scoured the area and found a stair well that lead down into the earth. Zombies had be posted along the stairs by some sort of necromancer so it was apparent that the bandits where no amateurs if they had necromancers to guard them.
When we got to the bottom of the stairs we saw him……… (to be continued cause I’m lazy)

Good story there... but I didn't like the ending... you wrote too fast in the end... I mean, you could wait with the Necromancers and the zombies... ;)
