anybody got ideas on min specs?

so has anybody got any ideas on min specs cos i only got an amd athalon xp 2000+ with a geforce 2 but ime on a crapy 56k connnection, i cant even get isdn yet so i wana know if i have to shell out 60 a month for satalite broadband :)

Geforce MX was said may be enough BUT think that a GeForceTi 4200 is closer.

A: The beta is requiering a Geforce 3 minimum with a 1Ghrz processor. This o­nly to get the same screen shot quality that you can look at o­n our web site.

This is the lastest requirments in Dev chat i could find (thx to SoF for providing this info)
But hopefully i will be able to just squeze past these

BUT i have a super GeForce 2 With Mx 200 ;)

Hmmm ive got an XP 1900 with 1 gig of ddr 333 ram and a geforce 3 ti-500 with 64mb ram.

A new graphics card will be coming along fairly soon. :)

Also i would recommend a minimum geforce 4

If the minimum spec is what ppl said, i dont have any pproblem with my 1800+ athlon xp, 768mb of ram and a geforce 4 ti 4600 and a 12 mbit adsl connection

geforce4 would cost a minimum of about $96

Is an athlon XP 1800+ processor ok cuz its running at 1.53 ghz but is as good as a p4 1.8 ghz :cool: lIf its not, ill have to overclock it :cool:

emm I dont think its been mentioned in this thread yet, but the lower spec Geforce 4's ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH

The devs have said this in the past. So if you are seing a geforce 4 for less than 100$ or even slighty above, its one of the lower specs. I forget the naming, but I think its a 4600 you need, not a 4200.

From what ive read in the latest dev chat, he min video card was a ge4 Ti4200 so a MX is not enough. I think they should also add a min internet speed cuz with a 28k, i dont think its gonna work or if it does, LAAAAGGGG

i think many MMORPG's were reduced to 2d because of the weight of lag on the servers, i hope DnL won't go this way. But I am sure it won't because I have put my faith in these guys.
