Huruz Busch fell to dragoon...

It sux that dragoon was able to take Huruz Busch today. And we will have to fight hard to get it back.

But, you STUPID GMs! Put the Teleports BACK IN for mini-events and you will have ppl show up to the event. The reason Huruz fail today was because there weren't enough players at the event. Nobody wants to fly for 17380153+173012 hours just to get to an event that lasts for 1.5 hours. The reason no one showed was because they couldn't TP. This world is WAY too big to try to fly to the events on a hanglider or pioneer dragon.

Bring back the TPs to events, and you will get players to show up.

Thats right, you have a point.
But you dont have to participate in an event. If u wish to, you need a fast mount, a binding place or else. Participat8ng in events is some kind of honor, like you are good enough participate them, or that you have the determination to travel high time to do that. Btw the most important events have teleport.

The travel part is a pain. I noticed they were doing an English event today right during my lunch hour. So I was like, "Sweet, I'll take a 2 hour lunch and go to the event". But no, I can't TP there anymore. For some reason they decided to stop letting ppl do that. Maybe they were getting an influx of players, I don't know. Maybe they had too many at events. But now we don't have enough and we are loosing the events. So, I couldn't participate in the event because of the large distance I would have had to travel.

Oh well, I'll catch the one this evening. We'll have to hit up Aquilla and get that city back from Dragoon.

Why not scale the event to those who are there. The Dragon where coming in waves. It be easy to add a couple if the fight too eaasy or subtract if you are not getting the number you need. If you expet 100 and only 50 show up then cut down on those attacking.

You cannot expect 50 people to handle what 100 can. We shuld be able to win an event from what I saw it was hopeless when for every dragon we killed another wave showed up. Where a lvl 34 character was hitting fo under 25 point with my best attack.

Well none of us had the event in winevents and it takes too long to travel to a kingdom in order to participate in some. Just not worth 40 minutes of slow pioneer dragon flight just to arrive too late.

WIth so few of us online and the events taking place so far from many. maybe the GMs should do something abou this.

We were only 20 - 30 to fight late in the night to reconquer the city. The lack of strategy was the main reason why we lost in the beginning of the event. The other reason was the Dragoon Scout with 230000+ HP , high AC and fire AOE dealing 500+ damage.
We killed the dragons (18000 HP) one by one (*) by pulling, rooting and bashing while protected against fire.

(*) except some that were bugged, stuck and invulnerable, Huruz Bush has now some new statues ;)

Huruz Busch where is this town and are the dragoon forces still there since they control the town or do they go away when the event is over
