Can people who haven't been able to betatest have a clan?

I have known about DnL for about a week now... and I'm woundering if I can join a clan even if I haven't got the chance to play DnL.
I suppose I'm wrong... or not... that was kinda clever speaking! Or was it? :P

You can join a clan/guild at any time you wish, regardless of gameplay experienced. Head over to the IRC chat and you'll be able to meet up with several instantly, or you could peruse the board index where the guilds are located (near the bottom).

Also if you wanted to you could start a clan anytime you want.. although most ppl call these 'vapor' clans.. but if you are dedicated and build a good website and infestructure theres no reason why you couldnt be sucessfull.

Joining a guild or clan is usually more than just game playing...

Community, and friends that i have met in guilds or clans is usually what keeps me in a game far longer than the game interest itself.

A rule of thumb that i have noticed for a few years on successfully choosing a guild... pick a class and race that if you had to "BE" for the rest of your life you would be, than find a few guilds that embrace/favour that class. The reason i say this is because you are in a community of like individuals this way... the core of the guild will have similar goals and thoughts as you. And be honest... show your true colours.. go wild, its RPing have fun with it. After all its a game and you are suppose to have fun.
