Anyone going to be playing DnL?

I preordered and still have faith that the game will be good So ill be trying out.

I got bored of SOG and was tempted to go back to my old guild on WOW but I couldnt face the raiding again.

Im still looking for a new home to replace SWG TBH.

I'll try it out, still have a pioneer act so 1 months free access to DnL anyway.

I too got bored with SoG. Still hoping DnL works out.

Thanks for the replies, Kreen have you read anything recently? apparently we Pioneers are getting 2 months free and 15 game credits or something. As has become quite expected with this game even the subscription process is not straightforward and easy to understand.

I agree with you guys, I stopped playing SoG as it was pretty dull especially as when it got patched you needed a degree in computer science to figure out how to get it to work again. I went to play Eve which I have to say almost made me want to give up mmo's altogether :-)

Hi Guys

The subscription process is very confusing I also here that we can start from the same lvl that we finished playing SOG at IE I was lvl 30 so I can start at lvl 30 in DnL not sure if its true.

As for EvE omg I used to fall asleep at my KB playing lol.

Im currently running around in Oblivion atm fantastic game shame its not a mmo tho.

Its surly gonna be a small guild just us three so I hope others come back.

It is indeed true that you can start DnL with the level that your pioneer character was at, but make sure you have placed a 'Stele' ( gravestone to you and I) you buy them from a trader in Cidd and go place it in the world, anywhere except in the starter area, on a road or in a town or where one will be I guess, just try to remember where you put it lol.

Also delete the other chars if you have any leaving only the one with the level you want to carry through to DnL

You will also inherit some goths, at lvl 30-34 its 200,000 as far as I know, lvl 35 get 250,000.

My char is lvl 30 too although I was going to try to get to lvl 35 but as its not so easy to find a good spawn of mobs I though it might be just as easy to wait until DnL when hopefully the world will be populated with more mobs to kill.

Maybe more of the guys are going to play DnL, they are just not looking at the forum.

So I have to place a stele to get my lvl when DnL starts, Ive removed SOG of my PC and all installation files 8-( as i needed the space.

I am hoping that I am wrong about having to have a stele in SoG to get your level, its how I read it and with this game and its translations I could be wrong.

I did read that pioneers will get a command that can be entered to gain the SoG level but previously I had read about a quest to gain your level.

The problem is that there is and has always been so much speculation about this game that its hard to find out what is actually true.

Missed placing a stele before SoG got closed down, I had Kreen at lvl 15, Zozo at lvl 11 and Krum capped at lvl 35. Between the 3 I had around 130K in goth I think. I hope things arent dependent on a Stele placement :P

I wonder how the transfer system will work :) I guess I will transfer Krum over and create a Kreen avatar in support. I think you can have 5 avatars in DnL?

Anyway, only a few more days until the download of DnL is available, 26th May I read on the forum tonight. We shall see :)

There is a beta stress test starting today, 21 st May, you can get the d/l link from the post on the forums.

I think if you didnt delete the chars that you didnt want to be your ancestor they pick the highest or oldest or something, there is a post about that too. The inheritance that you get in DnL is dependant on the level of the char so Kreen hopefully you will be able to get 250k goths with your lvl 35.

i tried the stress test today - its FAR more beautiful than sog tbh - v. nice changes.

Excellent, so possibly I could have a Kreen avatar starting at lvl 35 if they let me change the name. My guess is that you can creat a new avatar with any name and then type in a special command if you are a pioneer after you go in game and then that becomes the avatar linked to your ancestor, Ill read up. Tried the stress test yesterday and today, graphics are so much better. Still a bit buggy though - but hey its a stress test on a beta version. Here's hoping the release version is more stable :)
