About emotes...

:P As we discussed about emotes in the last thread, why don't open a dedicated topic?

Here are all the emotes of FFXI, I think it's a good list and I wish I could see them also in DnL.

It's also very similar to Asheron's Call2 list, I think it's almost perfect...

I agree being able to play and instrument in a tavern and people paying to come an listen would be cool. Also id like to see a huge variety of emotes, nd ones that would let you interact with oths like, kiss the hand of a person.

Yes definately being able to bow or wave etc... definately makes for better gameplay

i like the idea of a music skill... could take a break from all the fighting.

Oh ya a music skill would be relly cool... I like the emotes thing too... A little cool thing would be if you could chat and link the emotes to certain words, a small example: I see Grovsalt wandering around in a town. I say "Hi Grovsalt". i've linked the emote 'wave Hi' to the word "Hi". so as soon as i say "Hi" in the chat my character automaticly waves 'hi'.

I love the idea of lots of emotes. There were lots of really good ones in Anarchy Online. Including lots of dance routines, kiss hand, bow/curtsey, appache - ear to ground, Ash and I were very creative in how we used some of these when alone in our Anarchy Onle apartment shhhh dont tell anyone. lol. But yeah they give life to the character and the game. I too can imagine eating drinking singing dancing and being merry at the Inn or around a campfire surrounded by fellow guild members.
