Where did it take place. The sites chat channel? because it's laggy when i was there and i heard it was really laggy when the dev chat was going. something like mirc would be prefered but i guess it just doesn't hsave the maintanince needed.

Yeah their chat server isn't the best, I would recommend IRC too, or another server.
