I'd like to get an accurate count of the fans. Mainly cuz i mayself is one.It is as plain as the nose on my face that I am a fan.

Also does anyone else have a problem with this typing not being able to keep up with his/her own typing?I type and type and i can sit a min or two waiting to finish.

Yeah When FF1 came out l thought they had reinvented the wheel.
Liked them all up to 9,have'nt played 10 yet, and FF Tactics;I like a game that pisses me off.
PS2 well nevr mind that.I had good&bad things to say about some of the later ones
Like Rift said 8 went for graphics and lost someting here and there,but they
were good in thier time.Ok l'm startin to ramble,I am a FF fan ....

I am a huge fan, but PS2 sucks and I am not going to get anymore games on it... So unless SquareEnix start making FF for XBOX I am not going to play... They will just loose a loyal fan... The reason I am not getting anymore Sony consoles is because they are made cheap... I have had to replace my PS2 two times :mad: and now, it is in the shop getting fixed at Sony right now...

FF4 - ...words aren't enough
FF5 - Never finished it, just didn't really get into it
FF6 - Didn't play it
FF7 - Christ on a cracker. Best thing since sliced beets. Couldn't get enough of it, must've played it about 10 times now.
FF8 - Better gfx then preceding FF's but the storyline lacked a whole bunch and the switching from materia to that other thing really really ticked me off. I enjoyed nothing better then equib my Ultimate Weapon and loading it up with the craziest materia i could find.
FF9 - Never played... Was it for PS2?? I don't remember, but that was probably it because i never got PS2 nor do i plan to.
FF10 - Played it at a buddies house for about 10 hours once. Unreal graphics, couldn't say much about the storyline I didn't get far enough.

FFTactics - Now here is a game that should have the FF stripped off. I downright hated this game with a passion, yet i still played it for about 5 hours most of which were spent on the same 3 battles. God this game sucked soooo bad

I'm a fan through and through. Though most people think tactics was crap my 2 cents are that it ruled.

I am a huge FF fan!
7 Was the best by FAR, amazing plot, great gameplay, loveable characters.
8 was a little lacking....
9 Was great, old school character designs and fun gameplay
10 had great graphics, but the plot wasn't as good as others

Tactics is the messiah of the PSX, second only to Final Fantasy 7, the plot was so deep, and the gameplay and customizable parties were addictive. 10/10

I've also played all the others, and can't til April 8 for FF Origins.

Well i have to say i enjoyed FF10 even though someone discredited it. I have almost completed the sphere grid with every character, even Lulu.

I an about to beat FF7. (i started late.)

Beat FF8 I thought it was good but that was my intro to final Fantasy.

FF9 was good but It made me hate yes HATE moogles and girls with horns.

Tactics is the worst by far but i could play it for days straight the key is to get good characters lvled up fast and to change jobs often.

Now Kindgom Hearts there was a good game even though it was by far too short. I would sugguest to anyone to rent it a beat if and buy it you have too much money.

Square is coming out with the rest of the old FF's right in USA right? I have heard but I haven't desided if it was rumor or not. I have seen screen shots and I would have to say they havent changed much because the graphics are like tactics or worse.

Yes they are coming out with FF Origins, they are FF and FFII...

hmm hmm hmm...

FF1-6 ::: only played them a little bit, couldnt get into them.
FF7 ::: good game, played it many times (still laugh at the marshmellow sceen with Cloud in a wheelchair.)
FF8 ::: omg...i sooo hated the summons...after i beat this game the first time, i vowed i would never summon another monster....
FF9 ::: my favorite story line, didnt beat it very many times though, cause there arent very many alternative ways you can play this one.
FF10 ::: grand graphics, my second time through i did a speed test cause my uncles friend said it couldnt be beat in under 30 hours , and I made it to the very last guy in 29 hours 46 min (tidus only has 3200 power x.X)
Kingdom Hearts ::: very differnt but still good, I had sephiroth down to 3more hits and he would be dead and i died :casstet: (metal_chocobo was there) anywasy, havent played it since.
FFTactics ::: nice different game, but sucky ending.

...now i am just waiting for future Final Fantasy titles to come out, and i am highly waiting to go get a copy of .hack//infection (looks like an awesome story line, the show is good as well.)

And since this is the ideal place to ask does anyone know how much a PS2 modem is gonna cost? I think i found one for $50 but i thought i would check prices
