Why did you choose the name you did?
Mine is pronounced: An-tea-an (though spelled Antaean)
And it means "titan", taken from the god of greek mythology Antaeus, who was invincible when touching the earth.
My last name is Immor-talis
Which means Immortal in Latin(?)
I have used this name for every MMORPG I play.

i am Madsniper by the first person shooters and _Ash_ by the role playing games

_Ash_ comes from one of the leading names in the psx game Vandal Hearts
and my gf's is eleni, also a chara from same game
you can guess how they fit together :)

Madsniper is a nickname i aquired over my old quake 1 and 2 days
as i would be one of the many few people on rooftops picking peopel off while singing in the chat the song of Mary had a little lamb (just liek the simpsons with ned flanders and the bell tower, i always loved that bit)

I'm really bad when it comes up to names.. I had no clue what to make my character name so I started to count on things. Primary atribute was not to create former hero name but name should sound like ancient hero, noble. Secondary was that it should fit in as role play name. 3rd I was thinking about adding something from my nationality and as in languages finnish ain't the most common and it might even sound ancient to you guys. Halfmen comes straight from my characters race, half-elf / half-men. First name is improvised from ranger Aragorn, well at least 2 first letters *smiles*

And Legion well if you know your bible when Christ exercised the child and put the demons in the swine he asked there names and they replied "Legion"

First of all metal_chocobo is original and I had just started playing Kingdom Hearts. The name sounded neat so what the heck.

Auron my future character, is posibly one of the best FF characters I've seen, but I wont get into that.

Terevanincu : Playing a sniping archer is just what i prefer therefore i looked for a name witch made sense so i looked in my elvish dictionary and came up with "Finest Bow" --->Terevanincu

Well, I started out using the name Void. But I found that too many people use it. Sooo, I decided to check different languages. As you can tell it is the greek word for void. I have also used vide. I forget the language, but it means the same thing.

i got the name pantalaimon from Philip Pullman's "His Dark Materials" Trilogy, which is one of the best ever! it has a lot of paralells to john milton's Paradise Lost. well pan is the heroine's (lyra) daemon, kind of like an alter ego/part of her soul. and it means "all-merciful" ;)

Well at 31 I'm an old hand at Rpgs. I started RPGing in 82 with Battle Star Galactica a favorite show of mine still fresh in my mind. Consequently I decided that my favorite character of the show should be the name of my D&D character. I have used the name in RPGs ever since.

My character name wil be Eleni, wife of Ash, both characters from Vandal Hearts as Madsniper has already explained. We decided on these names together as we are a couple and wanted our character names to reflect this. We use the names Ash and Eleni in some of the rpg games we play including Healbreath and Anarchy Online. Leyanne is a combination of my first and second names. We have used Madsniper and Leyanne together in other games - good old Runescape and lots of the 'shoot'em up' games that snipes gets me playing - UT, CS etc etc. I spend a lot of my time dead in those games but sniper is soooo good. I also use Leyanne for email, chats and on my artwork. Hey i noticed there is lots of talent in this game- some with music and dance talent. Good onya guys and gals.
