NWN Anyone?!?

Anyone have NWN, if so, we should start an RPGingb group (if anyones interested). I have a fairly large world already made, but I would be willing to add yours to it too (if I can) to make it bigger. If your interested hit this thread up with a reply.

sure.. i have nwn..
and im working on a world.. though its not that big.. and its not really the same idea as most worlds.. it doesnt have a fixed story line.. more like 10 totaly different lines

but i have gotten to the stage where i got a bit bored and cheated and severly killed almost anyone i could find, which was quite fun, and tasty, beef noodels, and spring rolls, and chicken kiev, and fortune cookies lots of them

Neverwinter Nights is a great game, its DnD 3d-style and it gives you the ability to create your own worlds, quests, etc. And DM.

you reckon you could make it so you can only have freash new made charactors and have a switch at the start that gets you to lvl 20 and make all the monsters lvl 20ish so we can weild any decent wepons then

im just wondering, i dont wanna be stuck with a dagger thats all but im good with any weapon.

You can just log on with your high lvl character, no need to start over, and I will make some decent weapons ;)

Arf my NWN is fooked up because my cousin installed on wrong partition and it cannot be uninstalled , i have to format partition to reinstall it and anyways i dont have a cd key :(

Local "cheat" vault sucks.

I myself play in City of Arabel "PW story" server vault.
it is the best server in nwn. It is 100% roleplaying server where you don't go speaking like " Hey dood where'dz all dat l337 stuff, I want my +5 Kill All sword now so I can kill you all"

Try it. You might get addicted to it if you are not powergamer :)

I have been playing NWN for over two years. I am also a pioneer of Sog. I am hoping that SoG and DnL are half the game as NWN when it comes to Rping. I am afraid that I may be dissapointed.
I play several campaigns through www.neverwinterconnections.com (which is a site that connects players and DMs) and play on a couple of Persistent World Servers, my fav being World of Haven found at www.worldofhaven.com. Actually it was a link from that page that brought me here several months ago. NWN in my opinion will always be the best platform for RPing since you can choose who you adventure with and hook up with people with similar styles of play (thanks to neverwinterconnections)

If you have not tried NWN and like RPing, there is a Diamond pack that includes the original game plus the 2 add ons for pretty cheap. There are thousands of moduals that you can download for free including the original PnP DnD moduals from the 80's and 90's. NWN is PnP DnD brought to the computer.

NWN is a totally customizable experience. There is no aspect of the game that cannot be changed and that has not been changed by the still very active community (Despite the fact that the game is probably 3 years old)

I'm not much of an RPER but I do have nwn and expansions was a pretty fun game.

Would you be doing actual missions or forming dnd run stuff like that or mods?

NwN kinda sucks..

The only fun way to play NwN is to play it PnP style... 1-2 DMs tailoring the modules to a group of 6-7 players.. NWN persistent worlds stink, at least if you're used to mmorpgs.

lol would have been nice if you sugested this like 2 months ago. 2 days is the tie I ahve until SoG so I am not looking at much free time. I am prepareing for launch hehe.

Never know how the player limits are going to be on the server, nor what status the server will be considering a huge influx in players and the unknown factor of just how well the game is designed and if they rushed it out or not, could be something good to do in the down time.

I have the game and all of the mods (NWN Diamond pack). So just give me somewhere to download what is needed and I'm sure I couild join in the fun sometime, though my character is a lowly thief at this point (level 6 lol, haven't even played all the way through the first game)

Can I suggest that we meet on www.neverwinterconnections.com the site is just for that. You make a profile and browse the upcomming games. You can even have the players that join have to answer a question or two. Just post a game called Waiting for SoG or something.

You will all have ot make a profile and a character that suits the rules of the game.

its the best persistant roleplay server out there, i suggest u give it a try, its got plaenty of active players and the DM's r always running plot lines
