Promotions

Everyone that is currently a Member of Divinitus (as of Jan 30) has been promoted to the temporary rank of Justiciar, if you notice, it is not listed on the Rank chart, this is becuase the rank of Justiciar is unoffical. However, it does place you above new members that join after today. This does not mean there won't be any more promotions before the game starts, but when the game starts, each players participation will be taken into account and real rank will be issued. Having the rank of Justiciar when real rank is issued will help you to gain a better spot then those without the rank. Know this, recruiting is always a good thing (even more so if you have rank), and when we get closer to the DnL release date, those that recruited the most will be looked upon with above others. :cool:

I don't knowwhich one of the following methods should be used.
1. Try be very upfront with the invatations. Just post a message and ask people to join. 2. If we should start a post that educates newbies and those who haven;t joined a guild why to join and to give ours as an example or
3. if we should just leave people to ask us.

Don't be too upfront or people are going to think were pushing it. Just casually mention the guild if you notice someone is "light" and a n00b.

Heh, i aint in your guild (yet) but i think i can help here...
In another MMORPG (www.project-entropia.com) im a part of SoF (Soldiers of Fortune (www.sofltd.com)). We are a very succesful society (it's not called guild there) and we've had over 1000 members. We've had an idle-wipe recently so that we would only have the best of the best left. Now we are around 50 members there (everyone is very active). Our tactic when it comes to recruiting is helping out the new players as much as possible and then simply just inform them that they can get more help on our society forum. When they show up there then we all do our best to help them even more and sooner or later at least 1 of 4 gets interested in joining us.

(This way we never have to ask them to join, so we don't seem too "pushy")
