VOTM started life as a simple child of a peasant farmer. A short boy with a tuft of black hair full of the zest for life which made his parents proud. He was not christened VOTM of course, but the details of his previous life are now lost and locked in the depths of his mind.
One night when VOTM was just turning twelve he ran into the forests near his home, being over enthusiastic playing hide and go seek with his fellow peasant friends. The harvest had been collected and the peasant village had all the reasons to celebrate.
Deeper into the forests VOTM went, confident that Darkii would never find him, but the further he went the more it became apparent that no-one else would be able to find him either.
VOTM panicked and spent the next hours tearing through the forest screaming for help. He could not have been more foolish for he was soon hunted down and attacked by a pack of ravenous wolves. Just as he though he was about to die his life was saves by a deafening crack of thunder which instantly turned the wolves to dust. Maybe he should have dies then because what happened next was far worse than being slaughtered by Wolves.
The dark mage who had saved him took the weak boy away to his lair where he spent the next thirty years practising a whole manner of new black magic spells on him. Prolonging his life and healing him so tha he always had a subject to test on.
For these thirty years VOTM slowly slipped into dementia, but all the time memorising the Mages incantations until one day, when he was srtong enough he killed the dark mage with his own spells and broke free, now he wonders the world trying to find about who he is, who he was and nothing will get in his way
