Will there be the possibility to engage in sexual activites with another player (or NPC) ? If so, would there be the other possibility of pregnancy?

I haven't really given this alot of thought, but imagine how things could/would change for the individual character with a little sqwattre running around... hehe

Maybe it could be possible to visit a house where the "corner-girls" (or men) worked, and pay a fixed amount of money to induce some emotional and physical pleasurement for the player ... lol, or maybe that would turn the entire game into a porn-movie? hehe

I definately would want it to be possible to get "married" with another player, and maybe, after a while, the two players can get some kind of special fighting bonus (if they fight together) or some cool quest or soemthing .. I dunno, just writing what I'm thinking .. :)

I personally don't find sexual activities or getting married intresting.. anyways it's only a game and those you can do in real life, but those could be good bonuses added when it goes gold. We just need to remember more we request, it takes more work and more time to come beta.

I think that is a great idea. Sex would liven up the long dull hours of leveling your character. Why not take a break and mosey on into town for a little drink, pick up a hoe and go back to the inn and get nasty1!!!!

i think it would be interesting ;) but i could see the whole thing getting carried away and see lots of people humping like rabbits or whatnot...which would take away from the game itself. some sort of thing for marriage would be cool, but i dont know about the sex part just because 1) the wild rabbit humping i can see going on
2) and would they have some sort of thing for pregnancy? i dont know how it would all work.

Lol, get your minds out of the gutter ;) , but since your brought it up, I do recall that when Everquest first came out they had a lot of problems like this. I remember some girl claiming she got "EQ Raped" because a bunch of guys backed her into the coner of a tavern (so she could'nt get out) and made sexual comments.

i was just putting in my 2 cents, actually ingame sex is a really really really bad idea. it would get wacked out plus you wouldn't be able to have offspring or anything because they would have to be NPC's which would take years to program. Anyway, real sex is one of the best things going, i enjoy it almost every night with my girlfriend.

Getting married sure most likly but SEX? I doubt it. I am sure you can walk around in sexy clothing etc and dance, but sex is out of the question.

If they did the game is gonna end up with some serious headlines all over the world and the age restriction prosses would be heavy duty...like using you Visa cheaking you age, sending a letter to make sure it was your card used not your kid using yours etc...sending another with password...would be a hard thing to pull off I guess.


But hey if you want sex and ending up with a baby play SIMS instead...LOL

I agree that for a perfect roleplay, the possibility of sex should be implementet. But:

1.) If sex would be halfwy realistically implementet the game would be "adult", so many potential customers couldn´t play it. That would be plain stupid of the developers.

2.) Most people dont roleplay, they dont even use emotes, so a perfect realistic roleplay cant be the goal of this game.

3.) I have a real life and i dont need online-sex. I want to be an elf, want to be able to cast spells, want to go on a dragon-hunt, things which are not possible in RL. No need for sex or marriage in a PC-game.

there is no online multiplayer sexual interactiviy game on the net, that two very mature people, can have a little bit of kinky fun (and im being totaly serious here).

there is none, we have looked, sure the real thing is over a million times better, but its being able to have the choice, to see what its like, to have fun.

i know two people who had to resort to anarchy online 7 day trial, just to have a bitt of a giggle, i wont name names lets call them mrs x and mr y.

i think i know this feature wont be in the game, but ffs add the marrage idea

I can appreciate mature people wanting a sex function in the game, but not everyone is mature. It's the sad truth. Look at l33tspeek......mature players never wanted this, but it happened. Sex would work if somehow you could control every players behavior, but you can't. Therefore you WILL have people humping like rabbits, whether you like it or not. It WILL ruin gameplay for serious roleplayers that want to trade their goods in town, but instead see kids spamming "WHO WANTS TO SEX ME!?". Unfortunately it will seriously hurty the gameplay. If someone wants to have sex in a game, petition the porn industry, not the roleplaying one.

That is exactly my point. I wish people could all be mature RPGrs but lets face facts. Most of the people who are going to be playing DnL will be guys. So the testoterone level will be unbelievible, if you gave them the chance to have sex ingame it would predominate any questing or leveling up. The game would be one half people trying to get stronger and actually become a part of the DnL community. The other half would be sitting in towns screaming "Who wants to f***" or just sitting in a whorehouse or something. That would S U C K

First of all, I'd like to point out my lack og seriousness in the question, and only thought of it as a rather different implement, BUT I now realize what the 12 year olds would be running around screaming, so I withdraw that thought.

However, I still think marriage could be a good idea, just for the sake of it. Don't need to be nothing more than having both players have the same lastname or soemthing...

And last, I hope y'all dont look at me like a piece of perverted bag of horny shit-stew. Cuz I'm not. lol!

Actually, it makes no difference what the devs do in the game to allow or not allow sex. As we girls know - from our experiences in games like Runescape and Healbreath. Yeah we sure do get sexual abuse in the game - unelicited- by a few immatures. Eleni and Ash are a couple and we will do what we do naturally in and out of game - cos well - we just love each other to the max. On the marriage/pregnancy topic - Hey- think of Sims - they have emotes - can even get slapped in the face if you flirt with the bf or husband of another female - that really cracked me up when it happened lol. AND male and female cannot sleep in same double bed until they have been thru the kiss hug routine - then they get to share bed. AND if they keep it up - along comes baby. If u neglect baby (get this - sooo funny) a woman in grey suit from welfare comes and takes baby away. But if you look after baby - it grows into child - you can still lose child. So there is a kind of precedent- no its not morpg i know. Just thought I would add that b4 Catz picks me up on it. ;)

Well I dont like to make anyone feel sad Catz and I dont feel I am victimising you. BUT MY experiences with SIMS was not morpg but rather the single player game - so any reference I made was to ONLY that genre. You don't seem to have any qualms about picking on others SO if you dish it out be prepared to eat it too. After looking at lots of posts I began to notice a bit of a pattern. Naughty, naughty Catz. It looks very much like you have been on a FAULT FINDING RAMPAGE. I truly appreciate constructive criticism however that's not how I perceived your comments. Okay I understand the agrument over this but really adding sex to the game would shoot the ESRB rating in America up to mature easily if not above. Further more that would greatly reduce the company's profits becasue the younger audience would not be able to observe it as much. There has already been the mairrage idea implmented in game you are allowed to transport to your partner and you can bonuses around them. Please we have no need to go beyond this. Anways I understand the idea of censoring it but still there goes the ratings plus when you buy the game they will have to talk about it somehow on the game box please lets remeber that that to can hurt.
