Ok. what i want to see is apart from the standard places to live why not have it so that if you like a spot in the middle of nowhere with a good view of the sea to wake up to when you logon... Then why not be able to /build on that spot if you have the correct tools okay it may be a wood shack to begin with but surely with some clever coding the build command could create an actual place on the server that is possible to visit? Then maybe once you get your building to a certain level of structuring then you could say add a vault or a wall or locking door you see what i mean? Tell me what you think on this idea im interested in your views....

Oh i definately agree witht that idea, i thought thats what they were doing, i do agree tho yuo should be able to set up shop anywhere, you find a real cool place to build. OR it should have to be in your factions land.

It is a great idea. I would like to have a small hidden place, but also some people will want shops or guild halls close to civilization. I think if you can combine the two it will make for a great system.

It sounds super cool, but big restrictions should be made so that a quiet little mountain side by a stream doesn't turn into the next New York!
Imagin questiong for days, you've been camping out under the stars and living on camp fire cooked fish for weeks then all of a sudden :casstet: you hit some guy humongous pallace and next thing you know theres a huge city where everywhere you look people trying to sell you junk and :o all you want to do is kill a god damn dragon but you can't find your way out of the emmense city. You try every thing but you just can't do it! :mad2: and in the end you set every bodys houses on fire :) .
That should probably be one of the risks along with size restrictions amount of houses in one zone and other risks like flooding earth quake termites and all other home owner disasterers. ;)

Hmmmmmm I can see it now. A house by the sea for Ash and me. A retreat in the forrest by a river. A holiday riverboat somewhere. And all that interior decorating _ a bit like Anarchy Online. 'Ash honey a bit more to the left. hmm no Back a bit. No. Put in the other corner honey. Ahh yeah thats perfect." But waking up together in a bed - overlooking a deserted beach or river - a skinny dip with a bar of soap to start off the day. Go off hunting and gathering to get some brekkie. Spending the days visiting neighbouring guild members. Hey yeah - I love the idea of being able to select a site and build. But will there be enough deserted glorious sites for all of us???? Ah well if not we just raid and pillage and take the best of 'em.
