Here are a few tips to help you registering your guild/clan quickly in this new script :
1) Choose your alignment and class at the bottom of this page (http://www.darkandlight.net/forums/profile.php?do=editoptions)
2) Open a thread in the forum (if you haven't done it already) in the Clan section in your language (bookmark the link)
3) Make a clan logo : size 198*60, max 12Kb.
Once you have finished, you may open the Guilds pages and click on "Register". You will then have a form to fill in, with these entries :
"Clan name" : The name of the clan. Avoid strange tyopgraphic signs.
"Clan thread" : The url of the thread about your clan/guild
"Chat box per page" : The number of messages shown on your chat interface.
"Positions" : The number of positions available in your guild/clan. You may change it as you wish afterwards.
"Link" : The url of your clan/guild website
"Clan logo" : Your banner or coat of arms. Warning : you need to use the specified format.
"Private chat" : Do you want everybody to be able to read your clan chat, or just the members of your clan/guild ?
"Clan presentation" : If you select "Use thread", the script will fetch the intro text directly from the forum (the link requested earlier). The other options gives you the possibility to type the description of your guild/clan directly in the appropriate field. You may edit this description at any time.
And you are done. If the fields have been filled in correectly, you are now the leader of an official clan/guild.
You can now start recruiting members.
Recruiting :
Any player can request membership. He just has to click on your homepage and click on "join". Then he will have to convince you to accept him, using the appropriate form. When he sends his mesage, you can see it in the membership requests. You may then either accept or deny.
A member can leave the clan at any time by clicking on "leave", or if you want to get rid of him, you can always "Force" hom out of the organization.
